Or a really good one anyway.
shirt dress from h&m
It's modal, feels really cool & comfy. Looks kinda preppy/boho. Has pockets!!

I bought it 3 days ago, have gotten loads of compliments & feel very comfy yet stylish.

Caveat #1 I have yet to launder it
Caveat #2 I do prefer my shoulders/upper arms covered, others may feel differently!

I paid €30, so I presume £25 or so...

Sorry, not modal. It's lyocell! Whatever that is. Feels like a thicker washed silk fabric. Soft & breathable

dexter73 Mon 16-Jun-14 19:08:13

That's lovely. I might sneak into H&M on the way to my chiropodist appointment tomorrow!

ThisBitchIsResting Mon 16-Jun-14 19:22:19

That is lovely! Is it available to buy on the website? It only has a 'share' link confused

Pagwatch Mon 16-Jun-14 19:24:01

Too short for me.
Lovely though.

MerdeAlor Mon 16-Jun-14 19:24:06

I love it. I'm going to buy one for Glastonbury grin thanks

Northumberlandlass Mon 16-Jun-14 19:26:18

Lovely. I'm 6ft tall though....maybe I could wear it as a tunic?

ouryve Mon 16-Jun-14 19:27:31

Tencel is really lovely to wear (unlike modal!) I did used to have a dress that sort of style when I was much, much younger and skinner. I'd look like an unmade bed in one, now.

Charitygirl1 Mon 16-Jun-14 19:29:51

Lyocell is such a great fabric - I have a pair of jeans which are mostly tencel (same diff) and they're just so comfy.

Arriettyborrower Mon 16-Jun-14 19:30:02

I have it! Bought it Friday, love love love it.

Super flattering, cannot imagine who it would be unflattering on. If only it was in different colours...

Arriettyborrower Mon 16-Jun-14 19:30:34

Oh and yes £24:99

LadyintheRadiator Mon 16-Jun-14 19:31:05

Oh that is nice. But too short for me. envy

Arriettyborrower Mon 16-Jun-14 19:32:43

northumberlandlass surely that model must be nearing 6 foot? It's just under knee length on me - 5 foot 3....

noddyholder Mon 16-Jun-14 19:33:49

I would look like prisoner cell block h in that but its lovely!

MozzchopsThirty Mon 16-Jun-14 19:34:57

I love this, will make my way to H&M soon

Onesleeptillwembley Mon 16-Jun-14 19:36:30

It's a bit 'prisoner; cell block H'. Don't like it at all.

Onesleeptillwembley Mon 16-Jun-14 19:37:08

Great minds, Noddy. grin

JuanPotatoTwo Mon 16-Jun-14 19:37:25

It is lovely but looks more like a shirt than a dress <shows age>

Littleturkish Mon 16-Jun-14 19:37:52

Sleeves = spring, but like the idea.

Best1sWest Mon 16-Jun-14 19:39:16

That would be a shirt on me.

Naicecuppatea Mon 16-Jun-14 19:46:47

Love it, but can't seem to get hold of it online envy

Iatemyskinnyperson Mon 16-Jun-14 19:52:32

I'm 5'4" and it's maybe1.5/2" above my knee. Pretty decent on me without being matronly!

Northumberland there is a tie waist on it. I'd be worried it might hit you too high? If not it would be nice with cropped leggings or jeggings (or treggings wink)

ZenNudist Mon 16-Jun-14 19:53:35

Clicked on this as Breastfeeding access is important in my current clothes choices. Can't see it flattering me. I hate anything with an elastic nip at the waist. I'm lacking in waist and short bodied so would make me look like a sack of spuds hmm.

Iatemyskinnyperson Mon 16-Jun-14 20:06:53

It's not elastic, it's draw-string.

Northumberlandlass Mon 16-Jun-14 20:10:09

Thanks! Arrietty, had a trip to H&M planned in my lunch hour tomorrow..will see if I can find it & try it on.

Yes, the belt may become an empire line, I'll wait &
