Do you look better naked or dressed?

I don't know if this is a silly question but I look very different naked. I am not fat at all but I am short and carrying a few pounds extra of late. The excess weight is mostly on my bottom but also on my thighs, so much so that my body is very deceiving and I look a million times better when I'm dressed. I am dreading the summer holidays, I don't think even my DH realises how disproportionally fat my thighs are Sad.

I look about 100 million times better when dressed! Good god, that's why I don't arrive naked to work! ShockGrin. I look average enough in clothes. Without clothes, plenty of lumps and bumps and out of proportion bits. So what. Nowt wrong with it. I bet you look excellent, you're just fed up with the few extra pounds. And I bet your thighs are not disproportionally fat. Don't beat yourself up.

Naked.

I look heftier in clothing - unless it is my lycra running pants and a tight vest.

Strange.

Definitely dressed. My unclad stomach looks like an elephants bum. That is why I cannot bring myself to date again despite wanting too - I can't imagine letting anyone see it and in clothes you wouldn't guess. Argh!

I am a goddess when naked usually because I haven't put my glasses on yet

Naked, I think. As long as I'm standing and sucking in a bit Grin

Clothes seem to bulk me up, bottom half especially (very curvy pear-shape). I'm a very nice shape but have never really figured out what to wear on my bottom half. Every now and again I luck into a brilliant pair of jeans. Trousers, skirts and dresses all quite problematic Hmm

Work your inner Kim Kardashian OP. She's made an entire career around the body shape you describe. Plus I've never heard a man comment on disproportionate thighs. I'm sure a couple of pounds won't make a difference to your DH.Enjoy your holiday.

Wow I am really surprised at this thread, it never occurred to me that some people look better naked! What an eye opener.

I definitely look better dressed, something to hold my poor well used breasts where they should be and hide my saggy tummy.

it's hard to find clothes that flatter my good points whilst hiding the bad.

Yep this.

Clothes seem to bulk me up, bottom half especially

And this.

I'm a slim pear shape with a long body and relatively short legs. Have 2x ugly CS scars so not that confident naked but definitely better in a bikini rather than dressed as clothes never seem to fit me.

possibly naked from the front - boobs to waist area only.
but from the side below waist definitely 100% dressed- my stomach is iffy and my bottom is too flat.
Definitely my worst feature yet DH thinks it's lovely (sorry I know TMI)
I bet your thighs are fine - I've come to the conclusion that the things that women worry about their bodies - men don't notice or care

Naked, but I look fairly decent in clothes too. Am 34 weeks pregnant so right now if you saw me naked you would be riveted by either the giant bump or the giant boobs. I quite like my naked pg self - it will be a different story post-partum! This is DC3 so I know what I'm in for.

As for clothes, I look ok in dresses atm. I think weirdly my bump being so big helps the rest of me look slimmer. It's a more flattering look than the middle months of pregnancy when people aren't sure if you're pg or just fat.

How I would love to have fat thighs. So feminine.

I'm a bit overweight but still my thighs don't touch. I look like a man, broad shoulders, no waist and thin legs. Tragic. Thank god for clothes!

Shape wise naked due to big shoulders that I think ruin clothes but I would get all embarrassed by my inability to keep to a waxing schedule that doesn't involve weeks of being hairy. Also have lots of spider veins on legs from anticoagulants.

Currently pg, bump is covered in bruises from injections and boobs are all massive (hate that). As maternity clothes are ick too I am quite excited about being post partum even if I will have to give up cake.

Definitely dressed. Or naked under the duvet with just my hair poking out!

Dresses. Without a doubt. My poor tummy is not a pretty sight after 4 pregnancies. Poor wrinkly, crepey tummy :(

I'm very pear shaped. My bottom half and top half look like two completely different bodies! I'm covered in cellulite and my legs literally look like tree trunks. I've learnt to "work my inner Kim Kardashian" as MaryLou said, so for this reason look better in clothes. Unless I'm standing naked in front of a wall mirror.

Naked. I look skinny in clothes but curvy out of them.

I also seem to have a flat bum in all trousers but it's very shapely when free :D

Naked. Frankly I have a nice figure naked. Hour glass. Then clothes go on and I'm just a tub of lard it appears. Naked I might be more than I should but it's all still in right places. Dressed it moves, changes. And depresses me.

dressed. I look thin dressed, but naked i look flabby and chubby still. (lost 5 stone in a year)

I'm a bit iffy either way, but clothes are very slightly better.
