Silver shoes help please

I think I'm looking for some silver shoes to go with this dress, it's a cobalt blue. I've tried nude, tan, sandals with ankle straps and none of them look quite right (i may have odd feet) so I'm wondering about silver peep toes.

I found these from Hobbs but they must be last season as they are completely out of stock. They are the right kind of silver, not sparkly or glittery, kind of matt silver looking. Has anyone seen anything similar? Ideally as cheaply as possible because I will literally wear them for a couple of hours.

Or would a contrasting bright colour work for the shoes? At the moment I'm on the verge of ebaying the dress and finding something even more safe from phase eight because I just can't accessorize the damn thing.

Hope that makes sense, have been up most of the night with DD.

Oh sorry, just reread - no to sandals with ankle straps!

They do look nice but ankle straps emphasize my chunky legs and sort of break me in two. I want to look as lovely as possible. Just for one day or at least an hour

Thank you all for your suggestions. Have had a good trawl over the internet including eBay) and nothing is particularly grabbing me. I have found a couple of pairs on debenhams that I'm going to order and try. The Karen Millen pair are gorgeous but too expensive as I wouldn't get to wear them again and not sure how 'summer wedding-y' black would look?

Maybe I'm barking up the wrong accessory tree with silver to start with as I also need a clutch and possibly something for my hair.

Do shoes and bag have to match?

God I hate weddings!

I want these so badly it hurts, but I don't have anything that goes with them and I would be worried about snagging the heels on pavements. They are gorgeous though, and the gold ones are lovely too...

As a cheaper but summery alternative, these are nice (but not silver).

Oh there are LOADS on Rachel Simpson - these? And I would get the silver bag to go with them, or with the silver ones I posted above. Silver bag

Sorry last post, I promise - the M&S floral ones are the cheap option, and they would be nice with a clutch in one of the colours in the shoe, pick out an orange or a pink?

I'd be tempted to go for a bright colour. How about something like these in fuschia?

tethers I think I may love you. I am trying to order the first pair you linked to to try on. I'm a bit worried about the ankle strap, and also the orange if I'm honest as I'm a HOC winter and should avoid orange at all costs. But they do look promising. Now, I guess I could go with an orange or silver bag? Should I keep jewellery silver toned? I was thinking droopy earrings rather than necklace? Will have to buy those too as I'm a very boring classic white pearl kind of girl.

jocasta yes I remember, I'm so glad you like the dress, did you go for the same Marge blue?!

Emsyj those bridal shoes and accessories are gorgeous. Almost makes me wish I could get married again almost

Sorry that lead to loads more questions. This better be the only bloody time D b gets married Grin

I'd be tempted to get a pink clutch with those shoes, although orange would also work.

Silve drop earrings would be nice, but not too big.
