So... what did you spend your Boden gift voucher on?

It's burning a hole in my pocket (expires 15/4). Am looking for inspiration.

I really struggled to spend mine. I mostly buy children's clothes from Boden but have found the spring/summer stuff hugely uninspiring. I ended up buying a dress for DD2 to put away and wear when she's older. I wouldn't have bought it had it not in effect been free.

What boden voucher???

accessorizequeen Sat 12-Apr-14 16:20:32

I bought pumps for the dc, the girls ones are lovely & ds2 now has a funky bright blue pair for spring/summer

i didn't get one sad. If I had have done I would have put it towards the chelsea turn-ups but as I didn't get one they are languishing in my virtual shopping bag waiting for a decent code.

the tunic that comes in red and green and black. Called something like the jolly nice every day get on with it tunic. It's down to £40 with a £15 voucher.

TulipOHare Sat 12-Apr-14 16:38:43

I didn't get one either! <strops>

TulipOHare Sat 12-Apr-14 16:39:59

But if I HAD got one, I probably would have put it towards either a black wrap top or more likely one of the lightweight boatnecks. Have a million jumpers but a dearth of lightweight simple tops for spring.

i got one by email for £10. Not used it yet. Its good though cause you can use it on top of any % off!! Had my eye on the wideleg jeans but the reviews are mixed.

I put it towards the cotton biker jacket in navy, love it! It seems to be rather small though; I ordered a 10 though I'm usually an 8, and it is only just big enough.

Darkchocsprinkles Sat 12-Apr-14 17:16:12

This in black and a plain black t shirt.

Thought the dress would probably end up going back so I bought the t shirt to avoid a wrangle over getting my voucher refunded.

<strange logic emoticon>

The one time I did get a voucher I did use it on a definite keeper, as not sure what happens if you return stuff bought with a free voucher.

CointreauVersial Sat 12-Apr-14 17:21:08

I really struggled, because I didn't want to fall into Johnny's little trap of spending lots of money just to get my free £15.

I had a 25% off code, so I ended up getting a Breton Teeshirt (green stripy) for precisely £1.50. But then DS wandered over and decided he'd like a pair of shorts, so I ended up adding them to the order.

Damn you, Johnny, you got me. grin

AnythingNotEverything Sat 12-Apr-14 17:22:02

I didn't get one confused but I placed my first order in years in the sale at Christmas, and got 3 x £10 vouchers and a 10% off one too.

A clever trick if you use Quidco is that you get your cash back on the full amount, not the amount minus the voucher discount as you may expect.

Thanks for posting this MrsCocoa, I was thinking I didn't get one but just checked my latest catalogue and there it was, £15 voucher, I would have binned it unknowingly were it not for this thread!

ihatethecold Sat 12-Apr-14 17:49:59

cropped leggings.
ive heard they are quite good

AWimbaWay Sat 12-Apr-14 17:58:48

Just bought Dd a Cardigan, had a 15% off/free delivery code too so only cost me £2!

spookyskeleton Sat 12-Apr-14 18:08:10

There are so many things I want - just waiting in my basket for me to have some ££ to spend. Unfortunately that isn't going to be before 15th so I think it is going to go to waste sad

SunnyUpNorth Sat 12-Apr-14 20:51:13

Ah Johnnie has sucked me in...went on to spend my voucher and have about £300 worth in my basket! Def not keeping it all, but do need some summer clothes.

Has anyone got a decent voucher code? The one on my catalogue is only for 11% and I can't find any valid ones online.

eggeggduck Sat 12-Apr-14 20:54:55

Johnnie doesn't love me. Bastard.

CointreauVersial Sat 12-Apr-14 20:56:03

Try G2N2 for 25% off and free postage.

SunnyUpNorth Sat 12-Apr-14 21:04:26

Wowsers, thank you so much Cointreau, you've just saved me a fortune. I was about to settle for 15%!

Much appreciated.

Sorry eggegg, who knows how Johnnie's mind works. I didn't get one last time loads of people seemed to get one. Maybe you'll be next smile

I got a £15 voucher, which I put towards these Johnnie B sandals in silver. I am ecstatic that the biggest size fits my huge gruffalo feet!

Lambzig Sat 12-Apr-14 21:34:36

Ordered some stuff for the DC (sun suits for their holiday) and a lovely top for DD and the casual weekend dress and the shell top for me. The dress was frumpy x10 and DH described me in the top as "sixties housewife gone wrong" which is not the look I was going for. So they went back.
