What do you wear...

When you think you might be too old for a hoody?! Sorry, I know it's a really dumb question but I've realised it might be time for something a bit tidier - but not 'smart' - than a hoody, but lighter than a coat, especially as DH & I have the same hoody, I think I look ridiculous. So does anyone have any suggestions, as I suck at fashion! Only problem is I don't have too much to spend; am quite busty but slim, so a lot of styles won't do up on the chest, and I'd prefer it to be at least hip length (body hang ups).

Wait, there's an age limit on hoodies? What is it? Am I too old? What will I do?

Oops, no offence meant with age limit comment! It's just that I've been dressing the same way for 15 years and want to smarten up a bit. Smile That bomber jacket looks brilliant for what I need, the hoody looks lovely but not different enough.

I tend to wear cardigans with a bit of a design - lace trim etc

Or regatta zip neck fitted fleece jumpers

I've been dressing the same way for years too. I went through a phase of thinking I should dress more for my actual age, but after a whole decided I didn't care what I should wear and decided to wear what I want* with conviction.

*jeans/trainers/hoody, I'm a scruff and I don't care!

I gave up wearing hoodies in my mid thirties, not really an age thing, just felt I needed to change my style a bit.

When I need to, I now wear light weight short jackets, Harrington style and a short trench which is shaped like a pea coat. As I tend to wear either skinny jeans or chinos it looks fine.

I really like that Asos bomber too

Come back and update us on what you bought!

A blazer? They feel a bit smarter, but sometimes too smart for casual for me. Primark have a few spring ones which are nice and only £22.
