Help!
Where can I find nice clothes for size 4-6?
I'm really struggling to find anything that fits me.

La Redoute, next do a 6 but I think they come up big.

I think asos go down to a 2 in the regular and petite ranges.

I'm in my mid 40s so not so keen on the young look!
And yes, I need to look professional but don't need to wear suits etc - think smart casual.
Next are wayyyy to big.

H&M used to be good for size six, although the clothes don't last long. I just used to buy two of things I fitted (as normally really cheap), then when they fell apart could wear the other.

Whistles has some styles in sizes 4 and 6, they often just have these sizes left in the sale section on their website.

I've bought suits and had them taken in at the dry cleaners, wasn't expensive and worked well.

Most designers, US ones in particular, do size 4/6 (0-2 in US sizing). Check out the Outnet for designer clothes at more sensible prices - if you've been looking in Reiss and LKBennett their full prices are comparable to some Outnet prices. I really like Milly and Theory for workwear and both do at least a US2 if not smaller. Michael Michael Kors does some good stuff too, as does DVF. Only thing about the Outnet is that you need to check regularly as their stock is updated three times a week and some items sell out quickly but I have some beautiful suits and LOTS of gorgeous dresses from there (I have a bit of a work dress fetish!).

Banana Republic (good for work) goes down to a US 0 - which should be a UK 4

I'd forgotten about Banana Republic, good call Brillenbar. JCrew too (but their UK prices are ridiculous).

Thank you for Banana Republic suggestion - I've never looked at them before.

Outnet is my favourite - am always looking for good discounts! I've had some lovely things from there, but I do like to try clothes on!

Fat Face usually do a 6.

Banana republic sizing is huge too, I'm a 6-8 and often their 0 is too big for me, so you'll be swimming if you're a 4-6

Surprised you didn't find anything in reiss, I often see small sizes there

In general designer sizes will be smaller than high st. I've only really ever found topshop to be small sized there.

Uniqlo are tiny sizing, a medium fits a uk 10/12.
Also, Lands end do a petite range, maybe worth a look.

French Connection -I'm not a 6 but used to work there and people who struggled to find smaller clothes always came in for the size 6
