Clear Plastic Mac! Should I?

Or would it be literally dressing in a plastic bag? I have come to that point when I genuinely don't know if a garment is a great idea, or a very, very bad one. Opinions? This one is Topshop

No, no, no Grin. Sorry, it's awful.

Wouldn't you just be a sweaty mess after 10 minutes of wearing that?

Yes, I'd probably squeak as well. But there's something about it that calls me. This pink one doesn't have the same draw, thankfully.

Don't do it, if you get even moderately warm from walking or cycling eg, it will steam up inside.

I had a blue one of those when I was 6. It was horribly sticky and condensation built up inside, wasn't nice.

Yikes! I think if a model looks shit in the ad wearing something it's best to steer clear Grin

See, I love them. Esp the pink one. But then, I have a thing about plastic macs (sounds wrong Blush I had one when I was little, which I ADORED. Prob not the right reason to get one now one, though...

Just out of interest - what would you wear underneath? If I was to get one, I'm thinking maybe just jeans and a simple t-shirt? although DH would still disown me

Also, PlumBear, I'm going through this 'thing' with jelly shoes just now as well. It's hard to explain. Sad

I like it. I couldn't carry it off myself, but I think it could look very fashion forward, on the right outfit which is not my regular jeans and trainers combo

Grin I used to wear one as a 16 year old back in 1979, believe me they steam up pretty quickly, which is NOT a good look.. Refrain IMO

Hahaha! Oh, folks, I think it's the steaming up thing that will ultimately put me off. I still have a hankering.
