Well, I wasn't expecting that. I'm a sweet pea summer. I could see it with the drapes but I keep staring at the colours on my wallet thinking 'wow, is that really me?'.

How did you get going with your new colours?

Wore my new lipstick yesterday and seemed to get lots of people smiling at me, sort of a general positive thing, but that could have been me giving off more confident vibes. All rather odd.

I wonder why Summer is the rarest season. Do you know Travelin? I always think of Summer as a typical English rose complexion so would ave expected it to be the least rare in this country.
I fully expected to be a Summer, light blonde, turquoise eyes, pale skin, but am a Blue Spring. Was a bit gutted as I love the summer palette.

Thanks Travel. I think jade was one of my outstanding colours, which will take some getting used to.

It's a sign of how much I had lost my way in recent years that I had been moving away from navy and some paler colours I wore in my 20s and 30s, and it turns out they were right for me!

Will hunt out the summer thread too. And get on a denim hunt.

Aquelven Your colouring sounds similar to mine, except my hair is no longer light blonde but more mousey.

The way my new pink lipstick makes my red cheeks disappear into the background is nothing short of black magic Grin
