top is ok. Bottoms grossly impractical, ties will catch on things and look silly under shorts/skirt whatever.

I like it. If you have the figure to get away with side ties, which I have found add a bit of unwanted width to my hips, then great! I get special's point about the ties not sitting right under clothes. But I suppose that depends on how you will wear it, and if they look sticky-outy because that's just they way they've done it for the photo.

I have a French navy Seafolly bikini and really like it. Nice styles and well made.

I've got loads of seafolly bikinis. They are well made and supportive.
I like hoola bikinis too.

It passes the enough fabric in the back of the briefs test and is therefore fine.

(Spent all summer hunting for briefs for DD1, who bought a bikini on holiday without trying it on. Lovely top, but builders cleavage Blush bottoms)

Love the first one, seems quite supportive and like an above poster commented the bottoms actually seem to cover the models bum.

I think it depends so much on your shape. The top of the first one would be great for me, but the bandeau of the second would be all wrong. But the bottoms of the second one would suit me much more than the bottoms of the first.

As for colour, personally I like the black option more. But I am swayed by my own colouring.

Sorry - not much help!

Order both and see??

I've got a couple of Seafolly bikinis - they're well made and good quality (and also provide adequate a**e coverage Grin ). You could always look at Coco Bay - they have a wide range of Seafolly bikinis and if you use the code GWG you'll get 10% off and free delivery.

Side ties are really uncomfortable if you ever want to lie on your side at all.

I think both bikinis are very pretty. Prefer the mint over the black.

Have you thought about surania? I've seen some pics on twitter from people who have used their custom-made service and they turned out pretty well.

I love both bikinis...and I actually love side ties on bottoms, much more flattering than tight sides digging in!

Specialbrew · 17/03/2014 22:12

I like both, but bandeau would terrible with my biggish boobs.

I also agree that bikinis which tie at the side are generally more flattering than bikini bottoms that look like knickers. I think the tie side style ones make legs look longer and waists smaller.

They're all just so expensive Sad

Is it not possible to get a reasonably priced bikini?

It's a bit starchy looking; like it might stand up with no-one in it.

I like a tie side, but a bit stringier.

I like it. I'm hippy so I wouldn't get the side-tie bottoms, but that's only a personal thing. I still think the bikini is lovely.

MaryMother have you looked at Next? Last year on hols, the nicest bikini at the pool was from Next. Primark have a nice world map bikini atm, but I suspect it's best for those needing little boob support, not running, or swimming.
