Clinique Take the Day Off eye make up remover - cheaper alternatives

I live Take the Day Off fur removing my eye make up (Bobbi Brown cream eyeshadow, eyeliner, waterproof mascara), but it's 16 effin quid. I need to get some more today, so if anyone has any cheaper alternatives I'd love to hear about them please.

Ideally, I'm looking for a'bi-phase' one that you have to shake to mix together. Simple doesn't work for me, I have to scrub too hard to get the waterproof mascara off. I love Superdrug, so any suggestions from their v welcome. Thanks.

LOREAL do a two layered one which is exactly the same as Lancomes bifical. £4 instead of £18.

Other wise make your own with baby oil!

L'Oreal dermo-expertise absolute is the same as Lacome bi-facil (L'Oreal group owns both brands) and I love it, gets everything off.

Thanks. I used to use baby oil successfully, then it made my skin around my eyes go all weird and dry, and it took ages to get back to normal.

I use Clinique as well, but also have Alcon Lip-care Towelettes. I wouldn't say they are any cheaper, but they are good. I don't wear mascara though.

Micelar water is the best remover I've found so far.

Garnier Micellar water. It's really gentle & removes every bit of eye makeup & foundation. There is no stinging around my eyes.. I am a beauty therapist so I have used lots of products. I was really impressed with this. I always used Simple eye make up remover but this is even gentler. I use 2 small round pads on my eyes & 1 large round pad all overt face. There is no scrubbing, just wipe over the skin & my skin feels cleansed & refreshed.
