What are your top luxury bathing products?

We are nearly there with having our bathroom refitted, the one that was in our house when we moved in was really, utterly minging and I've not had a bath for 5 months (have crouched over a shower dribble in this time so am clean).

So, I'd like to treat myself to a few lovely new bathing products to celebrate. What would you buy? Thinking of bubble bath or bath oil, body scrub, maybe a face mask. Basically, if you have a lovely bath what products do you use?

Elemis (or elimis?)are absolutely gorgeous products and smell amazing. I would choose them...or if you like fruity products, try Pure Fiji. It is heavenly!

Ive spent a lot on bath products in my time, but my favourites are the champneys range which you can get in boots. Lovely, silky bubbles!

I use natural oils in my bath (lavender and frankincense mainly) as my skin can't tolerate SLS which is in everything bath related.

Happy, do you mean the Sanctuary in the orange lid containers? I really love the scent of these and use the body cream a lot after showering but some of the range strangely makes my skin feel like it's burning which is a bit alarming!!

The Champneys rose bath oil.

I love the Jo Malone bath oil - I tend to buy the cheaper option in the plastic bottles as opposed to the glass bottle after I dropped the latter on bathroom floor and it smashed-it was also hardly used ... Still mourning the loss ! My favourite smells are pomegranate noir and the fig one.

I also like the Aromatherapy Associates bath oils.

You could blow the budget on Laura mercier creme brûlée bath stuff. The bathing foam stuff with the stick to measure it out is gorgeous.

My favourite bath oil is Tisserand Detox Bath Oil. Lovely. A little bottle (100ml) but goes a long way.

Neal's Yard bath oils are also lovely and go a long way.

If you want bubbles, I really rate Waitrose Tea Tree and Apple bath foam. Its got a lovely light, apple-ey scent and is really bubbly.

Origins Way of the Bath Matcha Tea Bath Soak is really lovely, energising and smells divine, leaves skin lovely.

Molton Brown Energising Sea Moss Bath Soak is good too - ozoney and seaweedy.

Ren Rose Otto bath oil is nice for an evening bath.

Jo Malone good for florals and Laura Mercier stuff is lovely if you like to come out smelling like a patisserie :)

Chanel no 5 bath bubbles (better than the oil which smells all wrong)
THis works lavendar and vetivert bath salts.
Santa Maria novella pomegranate bath salts and carnation oil

I really like the body shop honey bath melt at the moment. I also have the ren rose oil but don't really rate it, makes the bath smell nice but doesn't 'feel' luxurious so for the price I was disappointed.

Beast, I've just stayed in a house with someone who had the no. 5 bath soap. That smelt divine! I can see I'll be making a few purchases maybe!

I am queen of baths.

I really rate lush on the whole - good quality ingredients, unusual scents. Their bubble bars go really far - four ish baths. Recommend creamy candy and karma.

I also like the laura Mercia creme brûlée honey bath, but it is £30

I use glamglow mud masks - BEST face mask I have ever used, you can see it change colour where it draws the oil out.

I hardly use oils because I was my hair in the bath, but aromatherapy associates are amazing smelling

Oooooh BigPawsBrown do you use the glamglow mud mask in the black pot or in the white pot? I have dry skin but an oily nose and am trying to decide which one would be best. Its expensive but the reviews are universally good.

Black pot. I got the one on amazon for £35 it is pricy but have probably used it ten times and it's only about half used, and I do notice a real, tangible difference in my skin!

Ooooh yes, need a mask. My skin is a mess :( If I have oily, congested, knackered, old-before-my-time skin, will it make me fresh and youthful and gorgeous ;)

I have combination skin - an oily tzone and occasional dry patches around chin, rest normal, but it's not sensitive so I can use things for most skin types.

I would also recommend Aesop parsley seed mask - if you're in London (I'm not, but visited recently) they will give you loads of samples if you ask!
