I thought they looked like kids sandals.

Grandma and children, that's who they suit best. They are the new croc.

I think they are lovely

shiny pink green or yellow

what's not to like?

I looked at the photo and counted at least 10 blisters per foot.

The ankle strap is very ageing - and I'm fifty! Too flat to be cute.

Report
Swannykazoo · 12/03/2014 19:45

I was very excited too - horrors! Well I'll not be worrying my tevas are a bit frumpy after that

Report
CockBollocks · 12/03/2014 20:16

furlined what's not to like you say?

The high across the ankle strap that will make lower legs look like stumpy sausages.

Leather straps that look like they have plaster style padding.

Weird colour sole that goes with nothing but itself.

Should I go on?

Terrible...
But the fashion mags are insisting that sliders are the footwear for summer and they are even worse! I shall ignore this year's fashion for fugly sandals and be unfashionable

CuntyBunty · 12/03/2014 20:21

Yes, those navy blue fuckers look like an orthopaedic shoe. They have an institutional look to them.

Report
CuntyBunty · 12/03/2014 20:23

BTW, did anyone see those bloody awful dog shit brown brogues? I think they were from Clarks but they really looked like an old blokes shoe from the charity shop. They are even worse than the salt water NHS style sandal.

Now sliders I can see working - they're lower on the toe so you don't get the shortening of the foot thing, and you'd only wear them somewhere you could kick them off anyway, surely?

Report
NinetyNinePercentTroll · 12/03/2014 20:31

Just googled them. They look like toddler shoes.

CockBollocks · 12/03/2014 20:34

I Googled sliders and found pictures of curling shies!!

Exactly what I thought! I have been looking for new sandals and was really excited before I opened the email as I have bought several items in the past from the swears by list, but how disappointing! What an ugly pair of old lady sandals.
