Hello! Great new edition Grin thanks Shop.

Love that look Santa I pinned something like that the other day. Oversized and relaxed.

Linus great shopping. Am particularly impressed by the coffee machine in a bid for solidarity. (we just re-bought our old De Longhi one in the end after all that!)

It's ok marsha, I probably would have been shopping today if the shops here were open on Sunday.

Oh fab new thread.
I love the image of Santa sitting looking pretty in her new shoes Smile

Right, I have made a decision. I am going to lose a stone. No angsting, just getting on with it. I have a lovely tan, my hair is curling beautifully and a smaller ass would just complete the look Grin

Welcome back Anni - I'm going to need new ones soon Grin

Evening all. Had a fab weekend up north but it's a bloody long way away! Loved the sunshine today and this week will be getting out all my summer clothes from the cupboard and putting the jumpers away.

Hi all! Hope everyone's had a lovely weekend - I know we did with the glorious weather.

However... today may have been the most mortifying experience OF MY LIFE SO FAR. Accidentally seeing FIL full frontal naked at 9am. Oh my god Blush Blush Blush Blush Blush I just wanted to die! But he apologised later and the rest of the day wasn't too bad. But still, even typing this is horrific!

Moving swiftly on...
Fashion wise I need to spend the rest of tonight browsing Matches as I didn't realise they sent me a £50 off £150 code that expires tonight! What an idiot.

liberty I think I'm going to start 5:2 later this week so might be able to offer some moral support if you go down that route!

Oh you are brave QueenC I stick by my granny's advise of 'n'er cast a clout, till May is out' Smile.

You are too kind Shop - it needs to come off my tummy, bum and thighs though as always I'll probably lose it off my boobs first.

Marsha I am doing WeightWatchers - signed up on line last night. I dropped from 13/14 stone to 11 stone with them about 10 years ago and have maintained it reasonably well. I like the structure of counting points and writing down what I eat every day works for me. This time though I will use the 'treat' element for things like avocado and dark chocolate instead of using it for desserts and I plan to follow Sleep's advise about having protein and fat with each meal. By default that will mean being low carb to some degree.

Cross post Blair. We can support each other on different plans.

Now how exactly did you manage to see your FIL naked?? Shock

MarshaBrady · 09/03/2014 21:03

Blair oh no! You poor thing! I hope you can banish the image from your mind. Good one on the Matches voucher, there's some lovely stuff on there. Link what you get!

Liberty sounds really good. Especially the dark choc and avocado for treats.

QueenC!!! No!!! Give me the brain bleach!

Basically, after going to bed at 2am I don't think he expected us to be awake at 9, but I really needed the loo. Which is opposite PILs bedroom. And he obviously errrr, sleeps naked? Basically it was just a really really REALLY bad case of bad timing. Like the worst ever.

liberty you looked fine to me when I met you! but good luck.
Anni yey!
So happy to see the new thread.

My outfit.....sounded good, looked terrible Sad. Then I had a frantic 20mins of trying on, pinning, throwing clothes on bed. Then I realised I looked so terrible in my jeans that I deleted all pins Sad. I just can't get those lovely sandals to work, just make my legs look shorter and stumper than they already are. Worried I have wasted my money Sad
In the end I wore black skinnies, stone heeled ankle boots with the stone biker, black slouch jumper, new necklace and disco. Much better. High tea was great you know me well enough to know I snuck in a cheeky glass of vino Wink

Shop and Dry pm!

What a shame about the shoes Dry. They are lovely - you need to have a trying on session when you are not in a rush.
