Which non skinny jeans with converse?

Love skinnies with boots or ballet pumps but no with converse.

What do I need to look for, I want a bot more fabric to go slightly over the skinny, is it a straight cut or a slim boyfriend(!)?

Might be being optimistic but hoping to get out of boots sometime soon!

Thanks

I don't like converse with skinnys either but I do wear them and I roll the bottom of leg a couple of times and it looks much better

Next relaxed skinnies are my faves to wear with cons and brogues. They are slim rather than skinny from knee to ankle so don't give that clown feet look...

In Italy long bootcuts are still legit with Converse or any type of trainer if you are walking your dog. Boyfriends are not always easy to wear, remember that they will make your entire lower half bigger and the focus tends to be on the pockets and ankles and the top cannot be super volumious. I find straight legs easier to pair with tops you used to wear with skinnies. With boyfriends, you have to reverse the balance, sort of, and may also need to pick shorter tops. But that said, I love my boyfriends right now.

Fashions are highly local. Where I live, the skinnies+ Converse look is getting a bit dated and people seem to be exploring other options. The trendy private college girls next door still loved that look a year ago but now they have moved on.

Thanks, I'm not bothered about following fashion, I just don't like how they look as a personal thing. I think they are OK when its warmer and you can turn up a bit and wear with socks but in Spring think I'll need a bit of sock, and again I don't like the look of that showing!
Think I will have a look at the Gap ones, got their Forever Skinny ones in Autumn and have been very pleased with them.

I've got some slim leg jeans from next that I wear with Converse, feel same as you. Little more material than Skinnies but nicer look than bootcut
