I always get spots on my chin just before my period and they last till after it is gone. Is there anything i can do to prevent it?

Have you tried salicylic/glycolic acid?
Or avoiding dairy?

Both worked for my hormonal acne.

Vitamins - zinc and magnesium. If that doesn't work then carry on but add angus cactus. Works every time to regulate hormone fluctuations and improve skin.

I used to get awful hormonal acne on my jawline. I started using Paula's Choice 2% BHA gel and it totally cleared it up, it's amazing! Think the uk website is she has loads of advice on there about what moisturiser etc to choose too. I'm a total convert to her products now. I also use the 10% AHA once a week.

Hope this helps. Breakouts suck.

Raggydoll At what point do you take the zinc and magnesium? A week before period is due? Mid-cycle? Or for the whole cycle?

I use Quinoderm at bed time, just started recently and no hormonal spots this month. It is the only time I get them since roaccutane a few years ago.
