Nice looking cross body bag?

Can anyone suggest anything?

I need something medium sized (for phone, keys, purse, small diary, sweets etc) which is comfortable to wear and made from leather, not too fussed on the colour.
Would be especially nice if it could be worn as a shoulder bag as well but would like it to look ok worn either way, if that makes sense (some cross body bags look very odd when used as shoulder bags).

I have £100-140 ish to spend (and there is nothing in my local TK Maxx - I have been looking there for months).

Ideally with thick/wide straps and an outside pocket.

TIA

Sound exactly like what I am looking for, though I wasn't looking for leather. Sorry I can't help but I hope someone can.

I did have my eye on an Orla Keily one but I'm not sure they wear well.

I've got a lovely bag from Biba which fits your brief. Their bags can be more expensive than your budget but I got mine for £150 in House of Fraser. It's lovely and well made. Have a look on their website.

Oh and it has worn well and is leather.

Thanks somedizzy, have had a look and they are nice but I prefer a softer bag as anything structured looks very odd on me.

Have you checked out River Island, Topshop, Fossil and Radley?

I got a lovely soft leather one from Animal - I suppose it depends if you are bothered by the name Grin

Thanks have checked the links and not too sure on any of them, like the Fossil straps but the bags look a bit utility.
Where did your Animal bag come from kobay? Is it branded?

What about a satchel? www.cambridgesatchel.com/ I have one and I love it. I keep seeing celebs in the magazines wearing them as well but it might be a bit too structured for you?

It's from Animal, it does have a small Animal logo on it, but in the same colour as the main part of the bag so not very noticeable. They don't do the same one now (just checked the website) but they do have some nice ones. I can't link as I'm on my phone, but if you google animal it should come up, they have a specific cross-body section. Smile

Thanks I prefer a soft and squishy bag to the structured Longchamp/satchel look.
Will check out the Animal website thank you kobay.

Am still looking Ginger, the Animal ones are not leather, my current bag is non leather and bits are peeling off it.
Do post back if you find anything....

The Osprey bags are very smart but again quite formal.
Need something which looks ok with my school run coat and jeans.
I don't work atm so not looking for a statement bag, just something decent and comfortable to use.
Seems it is quite hard to find!

Massimo Dutti have some nice soft leather ones. Got one in the sale from there Christmas time. It's lovely soft leather and I use it on the school run too. Can't link as on ipad.

And if you want a Celine Trio-alike for less, they are doing that, too Hmm www.houseoffraser.co.uk/Coccinelle+Roxy+neutral+small+crossbody+bag/191939706,default,pd.html

Thanks, the Coccinelle is again very nice but very structured which just looks wrong on me.
I have been looking at JL and have seen one bag which looks possible so will probably give that a try.
No M Dutti here so cant look there, which is a shame...

Have you looked at tk maxx online? They have a good selection of bags on there. Better than my local branch.

I've always liked the bags from
white stuff, usually leather and a nice quality. How about this one?
