Can anyone point me to a nice, simple and cheap one? I've seen the ones in Boden, but I really don't want to spend £50 on something that is just to schlep around on the beach in.

And I apologise for stretching the concept of both 'style' and 'beauty' perhaps a bit too far....

John Lewis had a not quite so bad one last year.

Hi. Thanks I did see that one, but it isn't in stock in my size. I was buying a couple for my children and wanted one too! I spend a lot of time on a windy Welsh beach in the summer and I want t be cosy too!

If you wait for a good discount the Boden one will come in at nearer £40. I buy very little from Boden for me but got one last year and actually found it v useful for slinging on after the gym over some crop leggings, after a shower when we went camping and in the garden just loafing about, so it got more use than I initially thought.

Thanks. I think I probably will use it alot. There's a code somewhere on here for 20% at the moment I think, in cas e you fancy another one!

Can I just ask if you have the hoody or the scoop neck? I'm wondering which one is more useful.

I've got a hoody one, nice if its a windy beach smile

I bought a Boden one last year and think it would be great in Wales as it was v thick towelling--in fact it was too hot for our holiday hoping for more use in Brittany.
The John Lewis ones look much thinner

Can someone link the Boden one? I can only find the kids version. Ta

I have found this if anyone is interested. I don't think I could pull it off.

Thanks Cherry pie - I thought that might be better.
