Burnt face from face mask and hair help needed!

Am new here see my colour analysis north east thread but I was using my ususal REN F10 face mask the other night, never had any problems with it before, I now have a bit of a burnt face, just on top my cheeks and my nose. Can't work out what I've done, maybe put too much on or something?

Have had the aloe vera gel on it, loads and loads of it and have got some Eight hour cream, this was on Sunday, anything else I can do?
Only other thing can think of was out yesterday, in taxi and sun was blaring in, could the sun have caught it?

Also, another thing I need some help with. Been in hairdressers today, my hair is dark brown at the moment very dark for me, so I've asked her if we can get my hair back to nearer my natural colour which is a mousy brown really. I was confused though cos she says do roots, then add these caramel foils or something, then a toner? Can someone tell me in English please? lol. Also my hair is a bit fragile and fine, and seems to be getting worse. My hair won't fall out will it if I put through all this lol
