You all know about Revlon colour stay, right?

I have huge problems finding a foundation that doesn't pool into my pores and I haven't even got big pores! I nearly found one the other week, Revlon whipped creme, but doesn't last long.

I'm sure I've tried colour stay before but not the dry skin formula.

This stuff is great, just blends into the skin and cancels out redness etc.I don't even need a concealer.

Goes on well well fingers or using a real techniques dome brush and buffed in.

Put it on this morning and it's still going strong. Not tested it when I've got hot and sweaty yet but so far it's looking good.

For reference the shade Buff is good for NW 20 skinSmile

Revlon whipped crème is long lasting on most people. If you read reviews, and that's my personal experience. Yet the normal liquid colorstay doesn't last on me. I guess that goes to show that everyone's skin is different!

I love the colourstay last 8+ hours easily if I use a good primer. Also a fellow Buff shade and real technique brush user.

Dame I've used it on and off for the past 20 years and lived in the tropics for several years and good old CS Dry skin was the only foundation that didn't melt there. It's one of the best foundations out there, though a bit retro because it's matte and full coverage. For me, the wearing time is 12+ hrs without primer and I've never found anything more longwearing. People mix it with different things to get different finishes.

I am seriously impressed, it's amazing and no pooling into the pores. I applied using the brush a bit damp so the coverage was a bit less full on.

I have wasted SO much money on foundationsShock

I think sand beige will be my summer colour as slightly darker.

I used Lanacane anti chaff gel as a primer, it's the same as smash box. Went on a treat!

Do we think this is better than Double Wear?
I have a bottle of Colourstay somewhere,in sand beige.
Like it but keep thinking of going back to Double Wear.

OP I bought this exact one yesterday too. It is great.

I'm now imagining you were the woman blocking the Revlon display for aaaages and discussing what shade you should get with your beautiful (but nonplussed) newborn DD.

I'm NW20 and use sand beige in the oily/combo skin one - I think the colours are slightly different (pretty sure I have used Buff in the normal/dry but I really don't like this version!!).

This is my every day foundation and although I have tried so many, none for the price are better. ELDW is just wrong on me - too pink (I'm very neutral) and wrong texture, too drying. I don't think it is the same at all. Bad flashback too with double wear.

The only thing better is Lancome teint Idole Ultra, I just wish they would take the SPF out. And it's too exxy for every day, for me.

Yes, I just discovered it recently thanks to that thread on here about Nigella's perfect skin.

I'm using the Revon Colorstay for oily/combination skin in Buff. I've now got my mitts on the Revlon Whipped Creme version from a lovely friend who was in the US and came over and I have to say it's even nicer. Or maybe it's just a bit easier to use as the liquid version is quite runny and there's no pump on the bottle.

I love it. It stays put. It doesn't sink into my giant pores. It is the right colour for me. And it doesn't give me spots which lots of foundations (including Bourjois Healthy Mix) do. I'm converted. Brilliant stuff. Not sure I'll want to wear it in the summer though as it's quite heavy feeling. I might go back to my Boots Botanics BB cream which is also great.

I might get the sand beige and mix it with buff. NW 20 is slightly too warm for me but near as dammit. The buff seems to cancel out my redness well as it's yellow based.

I wore it again today, it's brilliant sun out and I kept inspecting my skin in mirrors and most importantly the car mirror which shows up all my flaws, it was PERFECT! I'm so pleased with itSmile

I'm desperate for the whipped foundation. Are the shades the same as the colour stay? I'm keeping my eye out on Amazon and Ebay for it.

Yes re shades. I have buff in both the liquid (oily/combination) version and the whipped one and I can't tell the difference between them. The whipped one is lovely.
