M&S. I have some Limited Collection grey ones that have no button or zip and I've been wearing them for a couple of years now. Agree with Gap too.

The supermarkets are great. I have several pairs from ASDA and they're often <15 in a good selection of colours.

Any of these brands good for long (at least 34" inside leg) curvy legs (size 8/10 but with calves and thighs - not sticks!)?
