Hiya. Thought I'd start a nice fun one.

I don't straighten my hair. Have long choppy thick dark blonde which I'm about to put highlights in.

Am quite thin but have hips, but really flat stomach. Have to watch my bum but still look good in skinny jeans. Sometimes we a shirt black body on dress, leg warders and biker boots. Do the whole black nails, good jewellry thing.

I also have a ghost dress, floor length, great fabric, wear with flat suede flip flops. So I like that sort of thing too.

Mum didn't allow us to choose our clothes at all. Had a very bad upbringing and clothes wee the last thing on my mind so now enjoy that side of life.

This year fancy a long yellow sundress and will wear a headband.

Most of my great clothes are second hand. Like silk camisoles from ebay, all saints stuff, religion sometimes. End up in flat shoes as walk a lot, wish I was still wearing heels. Don't miss the suit thing from corporate days. Like wearing nail varnish. Got a boyfriend who is a musician so go to loads of gigs and see the girls there. Keeps me young I think as am forty this year!!!

Sorry for the massive post! Have had wine!! Anyone fancy taking about clothes?

I'm a classic hourglass shape, lots of tits and ass really. I'm a bit gothy secretary as my sister calls my look. Lot's of black, lace and velvet. Quite grungey as well, love a bit of tartan, love my velvet Dr Martens and Superga. Suppose I'm a bit of a mish mash. Oh and I have gingery hair (dyed) but it really suits me

Eclectic mishmash of home made and charity shop clothes that give the caual observer the impression of a multilayered bag lady. This look works best when I am slightly thinner than I am now.
Spent today in a green cord cargo skirt with purple tights, stripy l/s top with tshirt and thick hooded cardi over. DM maryjane shoes or wellies on, depending on whether was walking dog or not.
It's an odd look but it's mine Grin.

I am a retro/rockabilly girl. I wear dresses every day-either swing or tea style. Seamed stockings/tights and always wear lipstick. Usually have a flower, clip or bandana in hair too.
For going out I will wear wiggle dresses or swing dresses with petticoats-retro make up and red lips.

I'm 41, a size 10, 5'8 and my legs are my best feature. But I work from home and so my signature look is quite often skinny jeans, yesterday's top, unwashed/sweaty from running hair and no makeup. When I scrub up, it's smoky eyes and heels. Really should try harder.

I look like a teacher Grin

I love navy, Breton stripes, blue shirts, longline cardigans or fitted blazers

I wear smartish clothes all the time. I rarely wear casual/sporty gear unless I am at the gym

I wear make up everyday but don't spend time on my hair as it looks better messy. I love pearls. Heels.

Going out I wear long fitted coats and a line dresses.

I wish I had the figure to rock a more casual look but it doesn't suit me

When not more or less spherical due to being heavily pregnant, I have a very angular hourglass figure (i.e. I go in at the waist and out at the shoulders/hips, but it's all very straight lines and more athletic than a typical hourglass). I'm more of an X shape TBH. I also have quite a sharp face shape with angular cheekbones. Dark straight hair cut in a sharp asymmetric bob (are you sensing a theme here?).

I'm normally a size 10-12 at 5'6". More like a size 300 at the moment...

My style is slightly (cringe) edgy, with leather leggings, oversized scarves, biker jackets, big boots, sneakers or patent leather heels, long layered tops. I never go near bootleg jeans, bretons, smart casual ankle boots etc because they all look hopelessly mumsy on me despite working amazingly on loads of people I know.

Fairly simple, but good quality/ design. Colour and hopefully streamlined. Other things like hair - a bit messy to counteract.

A small window- I can't do over embellishment.

Jeans and striped tops (which is silly because I'm apple shaped with a tum). Birkenstock Milanos in the summer, boots in the winter. I wear my hair either quite short or fairly long which means that it's usually in some nondescript growing-out shape.

chanie44 · 23/02/2014 10:34

Probably a mum uniform of skinny jeans and a jersey top.

I'm petite, but with huge knorks and broad shoulders so getting decent tops is difficult.

I like to be comfortable and don't like lots of bows and frills on my clothes, which, because of my size, doesn't suit me anyway.

I have defined looks for work and play.

Work - a dress, always a dress. Simple jewellery - a watch, a few special simple silver pieces. No cardigans ever! No shirts or blouses, no separates. I can do patterned dresses this way with no other adornment. Black jacket over top if I need to be smart - shortish fitted one from Jigsaw. Simple black heels in winter with opaques (always black), tan shoes and bare legs in summer.

Play - distressed skinnies and a simple boxy / loose / slightly clingy top and ballet flats. Maybe an oversized scarf. Sometimes cropped cuffed combats in summer. I invest in good bottom halves (J brand, Diesel) then buy tops seasonally and don't tend to spend so much.

Blonde highlighted long hair always blowdried - it's my one real vanity. Makeup not always if I'm having a good skin day, or very simple glowy foundation, cream blush and lippie. Usually size 8/10 now a size 7000 in pregnancy.

This is great reading, love all your styles.

Talking of the odd special thing we have, I like heavy jewellery. Wish I had proper money to spend on it. Also like really good fabrics.

Am starting to wear more eye makeup, since going to the gigs I see they all do, so I've had to learn to do nude eyeshadow (not found the right one for me yet) and black cat eye eyeliner.....quite enjoy it..... But really I like loose flowing clothes so the rock look is evenings only....

The Jumped, your expensive bottoms sounds like a really good idea, you have to be careful don't you.....will take leaf out of your book...

I do however go to the shop in pajamas!!!!

I love the sound of everyone's look. Although hitting the big 50 last year I am lucky that I have good skin and am still a slim size 12. I do Live in fear that as peri menopausal I may wake one morning looking a 100 years old. I like a skinny jean, a Bretton top and any top that has buttons down the back. Don't ask me why I just do. I work with a lot of youngsters who often compliment me on my style and I think they mean it as they often wear similar things. For work I make myself a line skirts in bright prints and wear with fitted shirts and opaque tights and a trendy shoe. In the summer I love a dress and a flat sandal or a wedge sandal. I'm lucky to be able to do smart but casual at work so can wear a smart black slim fit trousers with trendy loafers and a smart top. Don't miss wearing trouser suits to work like I had to a few years ago. I love boots and this winters going out boots are brown nubuck suede with a chunky Cuban (that word scares me but it is the only way to describe the heel) and straps on the side. They look great with a skirt too. I love them so much that if it didn't make me seem like a nutter I would put them on a little plinth with a light on it. I just love 'em. Hair is a bob with what was a swept aside fringe but I recklessly let the hairdresser cut that a bit shorter last Thursday. Having it coloured this week and am going for a deep red henna/chest nutty colour. I like a smokey eyeliner on the top lid and a reddish lipstick. This is a great thread btw.

I tend to be leggings with jumpers or dresses in this weather.

I'm an hourglass but slim with long legs. Wear dresses and skinny jeans for weekends and after work.

I wear navy, stripes (not Breton) and often red which brightens up and suits me. Has to be bright red. Am told I look good in red lipstick but not 100% confident in it. Have Bobbi Brown sheer red lipgloss which is great tho.

I also like vintage but brights. A color analyst would have a field day with me!

I used to get told I looked like a teacher!

Huge boobs, small waist, no bum ?
Tend to wear skinny jeans with longer tops, OTK boots or uggs through the day. Or dresses with a waist belt and a little shrug
Makeup wise I am always wearing it! I change eyeshadow up but always have black flicked liner. Nude or v bright lips, nothing in between ?
This was yesterday's outfit
