So I have this dress and these ankle boots (which were much, much cheaper in Clarks but they don't have them online for a link anymore. What do you think?
The dress is a size 20 btw and I think it's rather nice - very figure skimming.

I love a dress/ankle boot combo. You will look great. Unfortunately I am going to have to go and look at the Monsoon website now- if I spend any money I'm blaming you OP!

Yeah it's quite nice. Not exactly ground breaking. Depends on what your usual look is. Wear it with a sparkling personality and you'll turn heads!

the only thing I might do with that dress is wear the same coloured high shoe boots and tights combo to lengthen legs further

I dunno what your pins are like but I am a little concerned by those boots and a dress

I wouldn't wear it with those boots either would go for what model has.

I'm not mad keen about the dress (then again not mad keen on Monsoon full stop anymore) but if it suits you and you like it then it's quite pretty.

I think the dress would look great with black boots but clash with the brown ones, sorry. I don't like the floaty boho look but the colours are striking and you said it's flattering on, so that's fab!

i'm so OVER black boots :) It's funny actually because I wouldn't have picked it out on the web necessarily but I think it looks a lot better on.

I like it all. Im an 18 and im told i carry my weigth well. I have a dress that is the same cut but plain. I wear it with black OP's and black kitten healed boots, so I keep the lenght of the leg if that makes sense - all one colour.

Model has a large statement neckalce on which looks ok as its black

Do you have, or wear large boho-ey earrings then its a bit more dressed up, and a clutch, thats always more dressy than functional over body type bag??

Nie black eye make up, sheer nude make up as there is plenty colours in dress. OR strong red lips, keep everything else minimal.

HTH Smile enjoy.

Not that keen on it but if you like the dress and it is flattering that sounds good. Not sure about the boots with it for a party - ok for a day look but not very party ish - could you do higher / different colour?

btw, monochrome prints are this season I think and I found a nice print tunic dress in M & S fro £45. Im trying to stay away from coloured or high contrast prints personally, but I do like the dress.

Let me see if I can link.

www.marksandspencer.com/mono-brush-print-drop-pocket-shift-dress/p/p22273807?colour=BlackMix

Its reduced to £36, depends if it is a two seasonal investment....M&S has some nice reasonable priced dresses.

I really like it. I would wear black boots but the ones you've linked would be nice too.

I love it! If you don't carry weight in your legs then absolutely go for it.
