I mean these. Does anyone have them? Any reviews? I want a pair of shorter trousers for the spring/summer to wear with Converse, ballet pumps, brogues, flip flops.

They look like they fit the bill but would be an expensive mistake!

I have a couple of pairs of the wool ones. I'm 5'5" - I order a 10 and they come to just above my ankle. They are a nice cut and shape and pretty comfortable.

Thanks starfleet - are they good quality? I find Boden a bit hit and miss for the money.

I have four pairs in total, love them, quality is excellent, I'm 5 7 so I buy the longer length and they are ankle grazing. I'd say they are cut for apple shapes if that helps at all, generous waist, slim cut legs.

Actually, now I've counted, I have five pairs Blush

prob not an expensive mistake cos they'll take them back and refund no problem. They really don't suit me though (hourglass)

I love the ones I got last summer. I found that they did look washed really quickly .I am still dithering about making a complaint. I should have done it last summer. They have been sitting in the cupboard all winter. I had a look at them the other day and they do look a bit shabby.

I bought a pair last season but not the wool ones. The cotton is a good quality and mine have washed well. I wear them over calf boots in the winter and with pointy heeled courts in the summer.

I got the metallic tweed ones but they just made my arse look like it had done a bit too much sitting in its lifetime (which it probably has, in fairness). Bought the cropped pale green skinny jeans instead which are LOVELY.

I've got 2 pairs of navy, a pair of black, a pair of red and the funny orange pattern ones that are in the sale. I sent back a silver pair as they didn't flatter me. They wash really well although my oldest navy ones (which I lived in last summer and are now 2 years old) are looking a little faded so I'll re-dye them (I often do this with faded clothes). I live overseas and have long hot summers, these are perfect with ballet pumps, sandals and kitten heels.

You can send them back if they're no good....

I bought a pair in the sale. They look hideous on me. I'm a 14 and they looked fine on my waist and bum but were so so skinny that they looked awful on the thighs.

Well, I purchased and they looked horrendous on me.

Have been returned!

Try Gap slim cropped pants instead. I tried both and while the Boden ones were OK but not a brilliant fit, the Gap ones are perfect. Fit beautifully, wash well and apparently fit everyone (according to other threads on MN)! Good returns too although you need £50 worth to get free delivery, but I am sure you can manage that!

Have you noticed that every single pair of Boden trousers have pockets on the hip area?
That style doesn't suit anyone with hips. Definitely not my hourglass shape.
I wonder why he doesn't make some with no pockets?

Agree he definitely cuts trousers for apple shapes.

How high are they in the waist? I need high waist or my muffin escapes

The Boden ones don't work for me either and I'm hour glass with thighs!

I don't like the pockets either. I'm an hourglass and they looked hideous on me

I've just reluctantly returned navy ones I'd been trying to justify for months. Bought them on the 20% off last week and they were HIDEOUS. May have something to do with remains of Christmas bingeing still evident in hip area.

Also, petite were awkward length, just looked like normal unintentionally badly fitting trousers Hmm

Am undecided on these tbh.
IV got 2 ,longer length pairs in navy and caramelwhich are ankle length and ok.
Bought 2 shorter pairs in sale in the animal type pattern.
Again,ok and only 17 each.
The pockets don't flatter my hourglass hips so iv sewn them down and usually wear a top that covers them.

I've just bought these. They are nice fabric & reasonably flattering. I'm tall & they are a bit short on me.
