Hen party/wedding outfit

Hi I need help!!! I've GOT to go to a hen party soon (long story) and I'm really not looking forward to it! I've recently (6 months ago) given birth to my first child and am having serious body confidence issues, despite losing nearly a stone since DS arrived I have no idea what suits me anymore! I found a dress I liked (thanks Primark) it's navy blue and a sort of skater style, I was planning to wear it with black tights and black shoes? Does that sound ok? DH has offered to buy me the most incredible shoes known to man, very me! Quite different (I won't share because I know MN sometimes frown upon Irregular Choice shoes) thing is if he buys them for me I'd want to wear them to the wedding of the same bride... Which would mean my outfits would end up being pretty much the same for both events, is this a huge fashion no no? Or am I over thinking it? Thanks in advance
