Wide calf boots

I'd like some flat knee high boots but despite averaging a size 12 I can only get boots to fit my shapely legs cankles from Evans. Their selection is doing nothing for meSad .

Any recommendations? I would like to be able to tuck jeans in them but still look good with a dress.

Thanks!

steve madden.

Also here's a trick the last and calf size generally go together, so if you go up two sizes or more it may fit your calf. Then what you need to do is get two flat sorbothane footbeds and third one anatomically shaped.

That will bump your footbed size up to fit. Toe stuffing as some people do doesn't increase the arch to bridge size which makes bigger boots more comfortable on smaller feet.

You may find as well that the increased footbed size with bigger calfs may make your legs look a bit more proportional

Thanks I will have a look. Smile

I'm usually a 5.5 but have tried on a friends size 7's and they still won't fit Blush so I'm not sure the insole trick will work.

Viva la Diva. I've got slim size 5.5 feet but 16.5" calves and have a lovely flat brown pair of knee high boots from there.

I have this problem. Gabor does lovely boots in tan and black called Astoria. They are exactly the same as the Verano ones they did lasy year. Buckles x 2 on the calves to adjust to your size. Theyre very comfortable too. Sold in Jones and John Lewis.

I had some m&s stretch zip ones which fitted and I loved, but they only lasted 2 months! I returned them and got my money back in time to buy a lovely pair in the duo sale. They look, feel and smell (leather...) fab and am so pleased with them :)

As I couldn't afford Duo. I bought mine from Yours clothing. My first pair of knee highs I'm thrilled with them.
