Advice about dry hair please!

I have porous dry hair . First day after washing ; looks good. Day two looks frizzy dry. No matter what I've tried. So.... I wash it and then use heat etc which I guess makes it drier but hiding the fact with fresh washes hair. Wonder if hair needsa rest tho love fresh hair! The hairdresser suggested a product to leave in but it was too many pennies! Anybody got similar hair with any suggestions please?

What I suggest for dry hair is coconut oil, leave in overnight and wash the next morning. Your scalp is hydrated, and your hair is moisturised and soft. They have a great one in superdrug, the vatika brand.
