My mum would love that. I might get it for her birthday.

Who the fuck got PAID to invent that.

BetterWithCheese · 11/02/2014 19:57

That is truly awful.

In fact she might think it is a bit plain and pin one or two of her enormous sparkly brooches on it!

Wow - just wow (to coin that well known MN phrase) - wtf is that?? Shock

I'm going to get a job as an M&S designer - with my complete lack of fashion sense and ability to draw I will be perfect for the job.

Oh you might have warned me! You can't just show distressing images without a warning!

that is horrible.

but why don't 'we' like fleece jackets? Warm, lightweight, quick dry.

Report
PoshPaula · 12/02/2014 13:21

Warm, lightweight, quick dry and they look rubbish.

beachyhead · 12/02/2014 13:27

especially if they have imprints of jumping horses or snowy huskies on.

My mother in law would love that. But she's in her 70s, loves purple and has a health problem which means she struggles to do buttons so the zip would be great. Shame it's only in Large and XL.

I'm somewhat nearer the age of the model though, and wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.

They've also got this stripy number in the sale. Can't begin to think why it hasn't sold well.

Where do they get these from?

Report
specialsubject · 12/02/2014 14:24

oh well, silly me - wearing plain fleeces so I am warm and comfortable, can go outside with silly girly squeaks of 'I'm cold' and don't have an enormous heating bill. But obviously I am doing it all wrong.

I wear plain ones though, perhaps I am redeemed.

Fleeces (fleeci?) do look rubbish. They are also warm, lightweight, quick dry...comfort and warmth is more important to me Grin

EduCated · 12/02/2014 15:57

I have the odd fleece for camping, because they're lightweight, warm and quick drying. I am, however, under no illusions as to their lack of style Grin

The links aren't working properly for me on mobile. I am Sad

No offence to fleece wearers, I like being warm too, but that one is yuk.

I can't think of any occasion I'd wear a fleece except a rugged country walk . But then I am very much a townie!
