WildThong Tue 11-Feb-14 19:43:14

Link to purple passion here

We've not had a good "let's laugh at per Una" thread for ages

dexter73 Tue 11-Feb-14 19:53:52

My mum would love that. I might get it for her birthday.

StickEmUpBigStyle Tue 11-Feb-14 19:55:28

Who the fuck got PAID to invent that.

BetterWithCheese Tue 11-Feb-14 19:57:20

That is truly awful.

dexter73 Tue 11-Feb-14 20:05:40

In fact she might think it is a bit plain and pin one or two of her enormous sparkly brooches on it!

SirChenjin Tue 11-Feb-14 20:08:16

Wow - just wow (to coin that well known MN phrase) - wtf is that?? shock

I'm going to get a job as an M&S designer - with my complete lack of fashion sense and ability to draw I will be perfect for the job.

PoshPaula Tue 11-Feb-14 20:08:48

Oh you might have warned me! You can't just show distressing images without a warning!

ocelot41 Tue 11-Feb-14 20:33:36

That's just.....upsetting.

Fleece and doily - together at last!

Allthingsprettyreturns Tue 11-Feb-14 20:44:28

This is obviously the Sunday best of fleeces.its obviously for saving for best.

aylesburyduck Wed 12-Feb-14 10:51:35

Ha ha!!!

went into see if they had any left today

oh that is nasty!

specialsubject Wed 12-Feb-14 11:25:08

that is horrible.

but why don't 'we' like fleece jackets? Warm, lightweight, quick dry.

PoshPaula Wed 12-Feb-14 13:21:02

Warm, lightweight, quick dry and they look rubbish.

beachyhead Wed 12-Feb-14 13:27:33

especially if they have imprints of jumping horses or snowy huskies on.

PeterParkerSays Wed 12-Feb-14 13:32:07

My mother in law would love that. But she's in her 70s, loves purple and has a health problem which means she struggles to do buttons so the zip would be great. Shame it's only in Large and XL.

I'm somewhat nearer the age of the model though, and wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.

PeterParkerSays Wed 12-Feb-14 13:34:45

They've also got this stripy number in the sale. Can't begin to think why it hasn't sold well.

Where do they get these from?

specialsubject Wed 12-Feb-14 14:24:07

oh well, silly me - wearing plain fleeces so I am warm and comfortable, can go outside with silly girly squeaks of 'I'm cold' and don't have an enormous heating bill. But obviously I am doing it all wrong.

I wear plain ones though, perhaps I am redeemed.

SirChenjin Wed 12-Feb-14 15:46:08

Fleeces (fleeci?) do look rubbish. They are also warm, lightweight, quick dry...comfort and warmth is more important to me grin

EduCated Wed 12-Feb-14 15:57:52

I have the odd fleece for camping, because they're lightweight, warm and quick drying. I am, however, under no illusions as to their lack of style grin

The links aren't working properly for me on mobile. I am sad

CatAmongThePigeons Wed 12-Feb-14 16:49:06

Well hello fresh level of style hell. That is atrocious.

OneLittleLady Wed 12-Feb-14 17:02:36

ugh, nasty, just nasty.

WildThong Wed 12-Feb-14 17:20:22

No offence to fleece wearers, I like being warm too, but that one is yuk.
