30th birthday gift for me

I'm in the very nice predicament of being asked what I would like for my (imminent!) 30th birthday from a few people.

My DH is taking me to New York in Sept so any ideas could be postponed until then if necessary and I could ask for dollars to buy something/do something when we are there.

Has anyone got any ideas for me perhaps around the £300 mark? I've had a look at Tiffany and quite fancy a Mulberry purse. All ideas gratefully received Thanks

Anyone fancy a bit of fantasy shopping for me?

If you're looking for a bag, Michael Kors come in at around the 300 quid mark.

Or a watch?

I tend to ask (in the nicest possible way) for money for big birthdays so like you I can put it towards something I wouldn't necessarily be able to justify normally.

I think you'll probably be able to find something a bit out of the ordinary in New York maybe from a new designer, a piece of jewellery or handbag. Have fun am a littleEnvy

Thank you both!
I'm not a huge MK fan, though love Kate Spade bags but I've got a couple already (bought from an outlet in Florida). I also got a beautiful watch for my 21st which I love.

I'm thinking money might be the way to go and then buy something when I see it but my mum is so far insisting on buying 'a thing'. Plus we aren't going to NYC til Sept so think she wants me to have something for my birthday.

I've got a few Tiffany piece and have seen a gorgeous necklace but its £175 for sterling silver so presumably you are paying more for the name? I'd also like to go to the store in NYC!

I've got a tiffany necklace and I guess you are paying for the name but there is a lot of silver - its quite heavy.

If your mum really wants to buy you a present how about asking her for a charm bracelet? She could buy you a starter charm and you can have a hunt about for some vintage charms in NYC.

I've got a traditional charm bracelet which I have had since I was six or seven - I really love that it's a bit retro and different.

I've also got a Nomination bracelet and my OH buys me a link for birthdays and Christmas - its not as chunky as a Pandora and a bit more unusual.

Maybe something along those lines might work for you??
