Hairdressers in Cumbria/NorthWest? Desperate cousin IT

Not expecting any replies as there are tons of these but I am desperate.

I really need a good hair stylist in the Cumbria area but will travel for a brilliant one to anywhere in the North West.

Someone who can cut thick wavy hair without feathering the bleedin ends and colour it a cool brown without making the roots ginger, would be amazing.

Please help a desperate woman!

I go to Olivier Morosini in Manchester - amazing!

Is that your stylists name as well as the salon name? I'm not hugely familiar with Manchester but if he's wonderful I'll make myself familiar. smile

I had suspected all the decent hairstylists had absconded to Manchester away from Cumbria tbh.

Shamelessly bumping.

I have not been here as I don't live near but my family do and they have a good reputation.

I came to recommend Olivier Morosini and see someone has beaten me to it grin
Yes it is the name of the salon too, he's a great stylist (I have curly hair) and his colourist Kelly is fantastic.
Also reasonably priced IMHO.

Worth a trip to Manchester I'd say.

from Carlisle originallysmile the Ivory hair Salon is where loads of my old clients went and hes always really really busy, he works on his own and is an amazing cutter and colourist don't think you will get any better in this area!

Isn't there a Saks in Workington? Isn't there a decent salon in Debenams Carlise?

I believe Boss at Barrow in Furness has a stylist who is excellent with curly hair. Can't recommend her myself only that an ex work colleague swore by her.

Ooh thank you all! smile I've made a little list and I'll check them out.

Luckily I have a fringe so I get that trimmed and look presentable again but I really am desperate for a proper cut. My last great hairdresser emigrated and I was left with someone who doesn't understand thick waves at all. She's obsessed with the thinning scissors. confused

Anyway hopefully one of these will come up trumps. Thank you again. thanks

Kate at Kingdom Hair Studio in Whitehaven is good. Claire is the specialist colourist there too.
