Do you...
- love fashion (high and low end), style, beauty?
- spend way more time than is healthy for anyone thinking about the contents of your wardrobe?
- wish you had the nerve to apply for Mastermind with your specialist subject being the history of H&M collaborations?

If so come and chat! Hugs and kisses allowed <MWAH darlings>

libertychick Mon 13-Jan-14 17:06:15

OK shop I've done it!

QueenC don't be daft!! No apology required (by me anyway) Dry points for the best missing of a point ever!

shopafrolic Mon 13-Jan-14 17:12:39

Nice one Liberty
Continuing on from here
Back later when I'm being more glamorous than I am now (currently cooking eggs on toast for DS) - so showbiz I know!

libertychick Mon 13-Jan-14 17:17:30

<slaps forehead at forgetting to link the last thread>
Am about to trudge home in the rain - is drowned rat a S/S14 look?

Drywhiteplease Mon 13-Jan-14 17:19:15

Good one Liberty . I'm still slapping head....idiot! Must remember to concentrate more......blush

QueenCadbury Mon 13-Jan-14 17:42:42

Thanks liberty. It wasn't intended to sound as insensitive as it did. Note to self: read posts before posting!

Anyway back to s&b. I'm not sure that h&m collabs would be my specialist subject. I'm thinking maybe kate moss outfits instead? Talking of Kate, she's having her 40th on Richard Bransons private island. That means no outfit photos sad

Drywhiteplease Mon 13-Jan-14 17:53:56

Don't worry queenC Hello often cover dos on his island smile

BecauseIsaidS0 Mon 13-Jan-14 17:56:15

...and there I was thinking I'd had a glamorous birthday because we had afternoon tea at the Wolseley. Damn you, Kate, always upstaging me! grin

MarshaBrady Mon 13-Jan-14 18:51:24

Thank you Liberty, you're a star.

KM stealing my thunder too Because. Blinking private island, damn.

It's awful isn't it when you type something then it hits you like a bolt of lightening. <cold sweats> I'm so glad everyone is happy and together in spirit to post it out.

My designer to Oscars question was a bit lame wasn't it?

BecauseIsaidS0 Mon 13-Jan-14 18:53:00

I've started with the Golden Globes dresses...

[ Cate Blanchett] - exquisite, as usual.
[ Lupita Nyong'o] - soo beautiful! Best newcomer. Jennifer Lawrence] - I liked it! Zoe Saldana] - daring, but it worked Drew Barrymore] - best bump IMO

BecauseIsaidS0 Mon 13-Jan-14 18:54:18

Oops links!

Marsha I missed your question, what was it?

MarshaBrady Mon 13-Jan-14 19:00:24

Which designer would you choose for a Golden Globe dress?

But firstly, because it's easier which designer would you choose if you were a man for the suit? I'd go for Tom Ford.

BecauseIsaidS0 Mon 13-Jan-14 19:04:19

Tom Ford whether I was a man or a woman!

As a woman, as well...Armani Prive. Or Alexander McQueen.

LinusDKD Mon 13-Jan-14 19:04:20

If I was a man I would go for Tom Ford as well or maybe Armani.

I do like Elie Saab for full on glamour. He has some emerald coloured dresses that are to die for.

QueenCadbury Mon 13-Jan-14 19:54:24

Elie Saab definitely. My fantasy board is full of his dresses.

dry Kate would never do Hello shock

libertychick Mon 13-Jan-14 20:33:36

For men I haven't a clue!

For my fantasy night at the Oscars Oscar de la Renta or something like this Herve Leger

Note we are talking about Oscars 2015 right??? No chance of losing enough weight in time for this years grin

Drywhiteplease Mon 13-Jan-14 20:34:57

Marsha I thought it was an excellent question.
I'm predictable......Chanel, Alberta love love!

QueenCadbury Mon 13-Jan-14 20:37:15

QueenCadbury Mon 13-Jan-14 20:46:32

QueenCadbury Mon 13-Jan-14 20:53:12

noviceoftheday Mon 13-Jan-14 20:56:37

Love your 10k thread Lib, great links on there!

I have to thank Amber for today's outfit, it's my cowl neck dress from me+em. Looks great and is sooo warm! All for a bargain £49! I wore it with my RB suede courts, PS13 and wempe aquamarine and diamond cocktail ring. I got a compliment on the PS13 from this trendy young thing at the gym. She said "great bag is it from river island?" It was easier to say yes. grin
