Emma Roberts, what were you thinking?

dexter73 Mon 13-Jan-14 07:35:20

That is a very unusual dress. Maybe she just didn't check her rear view before leaving her hotel?!

ItsATIARA Mon 13-Jan-14 07:40:21

A) it's Emma Watson
B) Daily Mail link alert

I kind of like it, she loves the unexpected high fashion choices.

TWOP have a good best/worst rundown but their site is a nightmare on phones so I can't link.

AmberNectarine Mon 13-Jan-14 07:41:14

Emma Roberts? I loved her dress. The black off the shoulder one?

Also loves Kate Beckinsale, Mila Kunis, Michelle Dockery and Zooey Deschanel.

MarshaBrady Mon 13-Jan-14 07:44:59

I really like it but only as she looks very pretty in that colour. Ok the back not so good.

Julia Roberts least favourite.

MissBeehiving Mon 13-Jan-14 07:47:27

I liked the front part of the dress but the back (or lack of it) made for some very difficult choices. I'm not keen on the black troos, but then what would could you have chosen?

MarshaBrady Mon 13-Jan-14 07:48:56

I know I loved it when I saw the front, shame about the black trousers.

Barbie1 Mon 13-Jan-14 07:55:45

I love Emma's dress. It's the unexpected which makes it so much fun. She is a young women who can clearly pull it off.

Kate beckinsdale is totally flawless, her hair and make up finishes the look perfectly.

The girls from 'the girls' didn't quite pull off their looks.

Taylor swift, a young girl in the entertainment industry who hasn't given into the the pressure of having ass and tits on display. yes Miley I'm talking about you she looks wonderful.

Heidi klum, really dislike this style on her. Twice this week she has gone for the floral print and some how she makes it look dated.

Julia Roberts, no, just no.

MarvellousMechanicalMouseOrgan Mon 13-Jan-14 07:58:11

Helen Mirren looked fab, as did Michelle Dockery and Zooey Deschanel.

Reese Witherspoon, Hayden Panetierre and Thandie Newton were a bit iffy IMO.

SweetPeaPods Mon 13-Jan-14 08:05:40

Really don't like Sandra bullocks dress. Reese Witherspoon looks lovely.

BunnyLebowski Mon 13-Jan-14 08:16:01

Elisabeth Moss looked gorgeous - her dress was divine.

I didn't even see Kate Beckinsale as I was too shock looking at her face. She has had very obvious and very bad surgery.

Julia Roberts looked awful.

Jennifer Lawrence appeared to be wearing a bed sheet held
together with gaffer tape.

Amy Adams wore a reject from the American Hustle costume wardrobe that squished her boobs.

Jessica Chastain's dress was beautiful.

Lena Dunham finally wore
something fitted!

Cate Blanchett looked great but not as Blanchett as I would have liked.

MarvellousMechanicalMouseOrgan Mon 13-Jan-14 08:31:37

YY to Elisabeth Moss, also Lupita Nyong'o looked fab, lovely colour and great hair.

BunnyLebowski Mon 13-Jan-14 08:35:35

Amy and Tina looked amazing.

Michelle Dockery's dress was boring.

Heidi Klum looked liked a time traveller from 1994.

Not keen on Sandra Bullock's dress.

Helen Mirren looked predictably fabulous.

Paula Patton looked like a walking maxi pad.

BunnyLebowski Mon 13-Jan-14 08:35:54

Yes Lupita looked stunning envy .

MsJupiterJones Mon 13-Jan-14 09:31:35

Colour blocking
- subset: shapes eg trees

All the plain dresses looked really dated and 90s.

Worst: Zoe Soldana
Best: Emma Watson

I quite like Emma Watson's.

Really don't like Kerry Washington or Drew Barrymore - are pregnant women that hard to dress? Love Olivia Wilde's dress though.

Naomi Watts looked great but not a patch on how she looked at the Oscars last year. Stunning dress.

Zooey Deschanel and Zoe Saldana looked dreadful.

I really liked Sally Hawkins' vintage Dior - the same idea as Zooey's but much nicer.

MissBeehiving Mon 13-Jan-14 10:03:43

I love Drew B but that dress had overtones of the KK floral frock disaster.

notyummy Mon 13-Jan-14 13:18:47

I love Jenifer Laurence but I didn't like her dress last night.

burnishedsilver Mon 13-Jan-14 13:27:45

I liked Emma Watsons dress/trouser combo. Shes young and it suits her. Its fun and edgy.

Sandra Bullock was slated by the critics but I liked her dress, hair and makeup, it just needed different shoes. A black satin pointed court shoe would have been much better imo.

eurochick Mon 13-Jan-14 13:33:35

My favourite was Lupita Nyong'o's - stunning.

I quite like Emma Watson's.

LittleBearPad Mon 13-Jan-14 13:35:48

I quite liked emma Watsons. It's a bit different but she's young and gorgeous. She can have fun and it was a beautiful colour.

Kate Beckinsale has become far too Hollywood. She used to be stunning.

lookatmybutt Mon 13-Jan-14 13:36:41

Half of them are 'blah' and the other half are bloody hideous.

I really liked Taylor Swift's one (I love that colour). My only criticism would be it would have been nicer with a necklace - but then I like big mad necklaces.

BunnyLebowski Mon 13-Jan-14 13:38:01

Sofia Vergara's necklace was stunning lookatmy.

Floisme Mon 13-Jan-14 13:45:49

I don't think Emma Watson's worked but I admire someone who takes a chance even if they don't always get it right. It's just a bit of fun after all. Everyone else looked so predictable, I've forgotten them already.
