So your recommendations please. Have used Liqwd and loved it but v expensive to ship from States. Have a parlux hairdryer. Can anyone recommend a good shampoo, conditioner and styling products to give me more volume? sleek volume or beach/surf style volume. Ta.

My hair is sooo fine - I ve tried everything going and started using Pantene silicone free volume and body shampoo and conditioner and can see real difference , then I use one drop Moroccan oil with the mousse and really pleased with results.

Redken bodyful shampoo and conditioner is ace, as is the Mark Hill 'does my hair look big in this?' Mousse. Both seem to have made a difference to my fine flat hair. The l'oreal fibrecutic masque for fine hair is great too. Bit more expensive then most, but my products have almost all lasted two months with regular use wth jaw length hair. Only problem is, colour fades a bit quicker with them. Do the job fantastically though!!

I use Philip Kingsley body building shampoo and conditioner. Had no loyalty until I tried these. I buy the giant bottles and they last ages.

I use karatase products, I buy them of the net I have fine hair also so buy one that's for oily roots and dry ends. They lasts ages as you only have to put like ten pence size in your hand and that's more than enough

I use Samy Fat Hair products from Superdrug. Adds wheat protein to the strands to increase the volume then when done and styled I use Schwarzkopf powder to add even more body.

I have thin, fine hair as well and have found the Babyliss Big Hair to be more useful than any of the multitude of hair products I bought before.

Cut it short! I thought I had fine hair until I cut it! It's now shiny and full.

Great thread! - has anyone with fine hair ended up with masses of static since stopping using silicone products?

hours after washing/drying if I brush WOOSH! massive head of static hair! Never had this problem before!
(I know; just don't brush but need to for de-lanking!)

Phylia de M from victoriahealth.com made an incredible difference to my hair; you need all 3 products to get the best result. The new Kerastase Elixir shampoo and conditioner is also good, but it's more restorative than thickening.

chish you need bumble & bumble prep spray in your life. It's weightless, knocks out static and tangles and leaves no residue. I use it instead of conditioner on my long hair and it just genius.

I've heard lots of good reviews about swell. I haven't tried it and it was on my Christmas list but didn't appear . Maybe I'll buy some myself. Has anyone tried it?

My hair thinned hugely this year. Klorane quinine and vit B shampoo and conditioner have made it look much better. Also tried the Philip Kingsley range. Didn't like it though and made my hair greasy.

Well Swell & I have not really been getting on. It does make my hair feel thicker but it also makes it feel heavy/greasy. So onto the next one. I'd like to stick to predominantly organic without silicone & the other nasties. Any more reccomendations? Am checking through Love Lula website in hope of finding something. Fancied Kerastase but not organic/low chemical is it?

I used the Swell this morning (bought the travel size too), my hair feels sticky almost.. Not sure at all. A friend has suggested Aveda Invati so am going to try that - her hairdresser said it was fabulous and she could see the difference..
