Heck I thought I was too old at 30 for them! I'm a 5,5ft size 8.
I'm taking the plunge.
How short is it? Could you wear it in an office environment?

Also where are you buying your boyfriend slouchy jumpers?

I have just bought this skirt, op! It's amazing, and so versatile.
I'm 5'3 and size 8/10 as well, and it's a good length on me. Enjoy smile

It sounds great op; enjoy wearing it.

Just because it short and tight Floisme however it's fine with opaques and slouchy jumper.

Higgle I bought the black in the small and they had plenty. the other colour was sold out in all but xs.

I'm 57 and wanted one but they were out of stock in my size - as it was a 10 I'll have another look.

How on earth can you be too old for ruching? It's perfect for older women - makes all your lumpy bits disappear. Can somebody please explain?

(all three are the parachute style, if that makes sense)

Of course not! Mine has come as an xmas pressie and dh has hidden it, hope it fits....

Spookey80 Mon 16-Dec-13 20:57:02

Think it sounds lovely, esp the way you have styled it. Also, because you are short, I always think that helps with a tight short skirt,,,if that makes any sense at all?!

Cucumberscarecrow Mon 16-Dec-13 19:27:48

Hoping not as I have just bought a leather mini skirt for my work Xmas party and I'm 39. I have decent enough legs though so hope I get away with it and that the young staff members aren't too horrified grin.

Ladyface Mon 16-Dec-13 17:23:51

Looks lovely, go for it!

MrsMcGregor Mon 16-Dec-13 17:20:35

I bought it and I'm 46. Haven't had the nerve worn it yet though! I plan to wear it with woolly tights, boots and a sloppy boyfriend knit with scarf or necklace to finish it off. Keep it!

nomoreminibreaks Mon 16-Dec-13 17:17:18

I think it looks lovely. I'm tempted to get one myself!

buttercrumble Mon 16-Dec-13 17:10:00

I'm sure it will look amazing ,go for it smile

OneLittleLady Mon 16-Dec-13 17:06:00

I think it will look fab on you

dexter73 Mon 16-Dec-13 17:05:27

I think it sounds like it will look very nice.

cloudskitchen Mon 16-Dec-13 17:04:11

must work on my text strike throughs. first effort fail grin

cloudskitchen Mon 16-Dec-13 17:02:22

I've ordered it and it has arrived. Now I see it in the flesh I'm wondering if I'm a bit old. I'm 42 (god that sounds old when I write it down) 5'2" and a size 10. Plan on wearing it with opaque, my biker style but taller boots and some floppyish jumpers sort of in hush style but-cheaper I'm now having a slight crisis that I will look a bit mutton dressed as lamb.
