That 34DD bras will fit me much better than 38B Blush Shock Confused. Thank you MN!

That I'll never use any other moisturiser brand than La Roche Posay.

That I look terrible without my fringe.

That MAC Ruby Woo is the best red lipstick.

That MAC in general is ridiculously addictive Blush

Another one here who discovered BB creams.
Also coconut oil as a moisturiser.
Cheap and very effective.

That actually if I blow-dry my hair with products it looks big and bouncy for 2-3 days rather than lank after 18 hours. I'm 40 fucking years old - how have I only discovered this?

Astral moisturiser-cheap as chips and making a real difference to the horrible patch of dry skin on my leg that even steroid creams couldn't fix.

Soap and Glory Archery brow tint and pencil-use this every day.

Threading-it hurts like buggery but I love the results

Mac ruby woo-after years wasting money on countless red lippies I have finally found the one

Pearls-I am addicted to wearing them every day and love to hunt the charity shops for more. Am now planning on begging dh to buy me a very expensive double strand set for xmas

Ooh where to begin.....

Brazilian home hair straightening kit (Needs doing again)
Babyliss big hair < could not live without
HoC colour analysis < has stopped me purchasing things I never wear.
32E fits & lifts < I am NOT a 36c M&S Angry
Boden Blush I'd never purchased and now love some of their pieces.

All of the above are thanks to MN bar BBH which I already had.

Next year, I'll do the Hoc style day & who knows what S&B will bring!

Ooh,glad you said that Ememem84 I've been considering trying Plum Badgal.Does it look obvious in sunlight?

My revelations-

wearing the right size bra..34J instead of 36/38G!

Make up can be done in under five minutes while drinking a cuppa, having a smoke and nodding in response to others all at once if you have the right stuff and have taken care of your skin!

Having flaming copper hair (dyed) makes you feel good and draws lots of attention ;)

Plopping hair is the best thing ever for your curls!

Most important one- being happy with yourself and not taking much notice of others opinions on what should be worn...have they ever looked in a mirror?

Oh,and yes I know I didn't list products.Don't need to,the best revelations are free (with the exception of hairdye, but still!)

Eucrin spf 30 daycream in the summer

cream blush, specifically Boujouis no.2 - no more powder for me!

Flexitol - after about 3 winters of cracked, bleeding hands and trying everything on the market, this is the only thing that works.

Falke short tights that I got in TK Maxx. Not sure what these are actually called but they are like a pair of tights that stop above your knees and completely banished chub rub, allowing me to wear shorter skirts and dresses this summer for the first time in years. (I'm not that fat by the way - my thighs rubbed together when I was a size 10) I'd tried cutting down pairs of ordinary tights in the past but they always rode up, so these things have been great.

The perfect cropped khaki summer trousers (in BHS of all places). Very slim fitting and flattering.

Moroccan oil inc the shampoo and condition is bloody brilliant if you have curly / wavy hair.

Shampoo doesn't lather up and you only need a bit.

Lovely bootfullll hair Smile

That I like showing off my legs, even aged over 40 - and that I intend to do it for at least another couple of years!

Superdrug Vitamin E oil

Iron tablets - being horribly anaemic is v bad for one's skin, I've discovered accidentally

Whistles tube skirts make my bum look smaller

And I agree that Flexitol hand cream is brilliant - adds to shopping list...

This year I've discovered

Argan oil from the pound shop. As good as dearer brands.

Ysl glossy stain for lips. Stays on, looks gorgeous. I'm collecting them all!

Clarks boots, having previously thought for years they were a children's and granny shop!

Maycheer eyebrow powder in dark brown. Perfection.

Dior hydra life pro skin tint for lovely holiday skin in a hot climate

Oil pulling.

Rimmel exaggerate mascara does stimulate eyelash growth.

Mavala nail polish. Divine shades.

Using no water antibacterial hand gel on my face in lieu of panoxyl.

That I'm a 32F not a 36B.

Tinting my eyebrows makes me look so much more groomed.

My make-up looks so much better since I've started using decent brushes.

Straight leg jeans look so much more flattering than boot-cut.

BB cream, especially the Boots Botanics one.

Vitamin E facial oil.

That I have to invest time in my appearance but I feel better about myself when I do.

The curly girl method has transformed my hair.

Cheap shoes are a false economy (they have their uses but they don't last).

Look after your clothes so they don't get tatty and get rid of anything that does.

MAC Skin Illuminator - light and gives just the right amount of glow! I just put it on my cheekbones and brown bone although you can apply it all over your face as well.
Sanctuary Spa Mande Lular Body Souffle - I got this in a gift set and it's a trial size so I use it after the gym. It smells beautiful - musky, without being too over-powering. People have commented on it a few times, thinking that it's perfume.
L'Occitane Shea butter hand cream - i've seen it mentioned on here before. It was just what I was looking for - moisturising but not too greasy.
