boots for slim legs

Ankle boots look like buckets on the end of my feet :( How do you rock an ankle boot with skinny ankles please?

Also, longer boots are too gappy at the top. Any recommendations for slimmer-fitting boots?

High St please, I don't like shopping online. Blush

Three of my skinny-legged colleagues have independently bought the same tall flat boot. It's a Camper one. Not sure if they still do them but we all bougHt them in different years!

Thanks - they look good under bootcut jeans on me but not with skinnies. What else could I do with skinnies in Winter if ankle boots are a no-no?

Jones have some slim leg tall boots.

Ankle boots I wear normal ones with leg warmers or thick socks peeping out. Or lace up wedges like clarks Yarra have a better fit.

You can't OP. They all look like flappy galoshes... I have tried on 1000s...

But I do wear stretch ones under trousers & have them taken in, like this

The other kind that work are tight fitting lace up ankle boots - to wear with leggings/skinnies.

Jtw Jones Bootmakers slim leg boots have a calf size of 36cm which is not that small...

These are expensive at £400 but perfect for slim legs:

and beautifully elegant. They also do the same boot as an ankle boot.

I've tried on those R&B ones, they're not that narrow...

I feel your pain, have trekked for miles in search of boots that fit.
I finally found some knee length ones in Aldo (Italian or Spanish make I think?) and they've lasted me a few years with a couple of resolings.

In general I found the italian/spanish labels smaller than the English ones.

fly london boots are fairly narrow

I bought a pair from Unisa a couple of years ago and they were fab.

I think they are Spanish too, so that makes sense with Millions comment above.

I also have a couple pair of Dr Martens which are good for skinny calves too.
