Colour makes it daft not frivolous (sorry!),but as a functional item,if you don't mind it a bit grubby,it's a good reduction.

That is a very different coat from the first one!

I like it though! I'd have spilled something down it within 5 minutes, but if you can bear to see it soiled then go for it.

Ok. Having had resounding success I am now going to ruin it. I was getting a bit worried about combining that coat with the shoes and bags I have so I started looking at other coats, I know the one I'm going to link to is very different, but it it frivolous.

Love the first one, particularly the collar. Dislike the second intensely. It gives me fur balls just looking at it.

All this is guided by my love of a black boucle swing coat i wore to death while at 6th form college. I don't wear black anymore, and I know I will live most of the winter in my oh-so-practical North Face parka, but I do fancy a pretty, fun coat. I admit, it does look cheap.

What is really getting me is the handbag...... I don't know what I would do now I think of it.

I LOVE the first one. It's a beautiful, stylish coat. I so couldn't be trusted with such a light colour but I want it.

I like the buttons, too, they're make it that bit more retro.

The H&M one looks cheap and not at all stylish to me...
