Love it

Almost too fashionable - very clear Burberry rip-off. I like it though.

justanuthermanicmumsday Mon 30-Sep-13 20:34:01

it's not too hearty but I don't like the colour. Burgundy is everywhere but I've seen More of a wine shade too which I think looks gorgeous and warm in winter.

But the main thing do you like it, who cares what we think?

rainbowfeet Mon 30-Sep-13 20:25:22

I love it grin

Especially worn with the little ankle boots like in the picture also look great with opaque tights & pumps or brogues

ElizabethBathory Mon 30-Sep-13 20:25:13

Thanks ruby just had a look but prefer the print with black hearts.

Too short and too polyester for me, but I do like the colours and design.

ElizabethBathory Mon 30-Sep-13 20:22:43

Oh dear cafecito, I've only seen the picture. Never mind, I don't exactly need it! The denim one I do need smile

RubyRR Mon 30-Sep-13 20:21:46

Dorothy Perkins have a burgundy heart dress and 30% off today

frankietwospots Mon 30-Sep-13 20:19:58

Love that one ElizabethBathory! Like the burgundy one too.

cafecito Mon 30-Sep-13 20:19:27

I like hearts
I like burgundy on some people especially in Autumn

I hate the dress - have seen it in store and the fabric is hideous - same with many of their tops at the moment

ElizabethBathory Mon 30-Sep-13 20:13:49

I'm not sure why the polyester one is £55 but this one which is nicer material (and which I'm definitely getting cos I love it) is only £45 hmm

DameFanny Mon 30-Sep-13 19:52:53

I don't like it. And you misled me with your heartiness - I was expecting something piratey sad

HandragsAndGladbags Mon 30-Sep-13 19:49:51

I love it! Also really isn't 80's to me but the price for that material would bother me

It's a lot of money for a polyester dress which is a bit cheap looking. I like the shape though.

hermioneweasley Mon 30-Sep-13 16:26:05

I like it

Onesleeptillwembley Mon 30-Sep-13 16:20:05

It is 80's! But not in a good, trendy retro way, in a found in mums attic way. It's really not a nice dress, though I do agree burgundy is in.

Gosh. One of the great things about getting old is that I have absolutely no idea whatsoever about what is fashionable or not. I think it's quite a nice dress. If it suits you, go for it. Also, as someone old enough to remember, I don't think the neckline is particularly 80s. (And for anyone under the age of 35, I am happy to confirm the 80s were a spectacularly awful decade for fashion. )

Trills Mon 30-Sep-13 16:03:42

When I read your title I was thinking "hearty soup" and wondered how a dress could be hearty.

I don't like the shape. I do like burgundy.

SundaySimmons Mon 30-Sep-13 16:00:57

I don't like it because the pattern doesn't line up on the pockets. This is always a sign of a cheaply made garment, so regardless of colour, shape and material, the shoddy attention to pattern details means I'm out.

ironmansmum Mon 30-Sep-13 15:51:19

Not my cup of tea I'm afraid

ElizabethBathory Mon 30-Sep-13 13:31:49

I'm sure you're not stinky treacle! I do try to avoid it normally, but one of my favourite ever dresses is polyester and causes no problems - it's also lasted aaages and never fades or creases or wears (I guess polyester is not exactly biodegradable and the dress will outlive us all.)

ThisIsBULLSHIT Mon 30-Sep-13 13:29:23

I really like it!

treaclesoda Mon 30-Sep-13 13:28:58

X post!

treaclesoda Mon 30-Sep-13 13:27:54

If you like burgundy then this one is cheaper and also no polyester. here

Seems I'm in the minority, but I did like the first one, because I love burgundy I suppose! But I wouldn't buy a polyester dress because personally it would just make me all sweaty and horrible. Although I might be particularly stinky...
