I'm looking for a new pair of black ones, to go with my usual Autumn outfit of black opaque tights plus above knee length dress of some description. Have almost decided on these but not sure...

these are mine, though I have them in brown - got them last winter and they're still lovely.

I like those, nice heel. I'm quite wee, so looking for a bit of added height.

I have Clarks 'Moody Cute' lace up ankle boots in black (sorry can't do links!) Love them and really comfortable from day 1 which is rare for me with boots.

These Doc Martens.

Bit scared to wear them though as they're a bit of a style departure for me - plus not really sure what to wear them with!

Johnsnow I've been admiring those dr martens for a couple of weeks. Do they come up big?

I wouldn't say they come up big Bits.

I'm size 4, I got a 4 and they're slightly on the snug side. They'll be fine after they've been worn in but l only intend to wear with thin socks or tights.

I usually size up with boots, but I have the original 8-hole ankle boots (can't remember the specific name for them), bought a size 5 and they've always felt a bit too big - hence not sizing up with these! .

Carvela Scaffold boots bought last year from Shoeholics for £39 Smile I love them, but they're a pita to get on and off as no zips.

Those Ash Julians are gorgeous Envy

Anthropologie for a bit of bling with jeans. I've ordered the gold ones but think I might prefer silver (they come in black too...)
