Have just lost some weight so am a size 14, abt 5ft 7, largish think I need something quite fitted and not too short.

There's a lovely tweed blazer in's got jersey in so fits really nicely...its £99 but there are £20 off vouchers knocking around on the Internet x

I saw a nice £30 one in New Look on Friday! I didn't have time to try it on though so no idea how well made it is.

MairzyDoats Sun 15-Sep-13 23:18:04

Ooops! Second link should have been -

What's wrong with the second picture? I don't think it looks that bad!

I got a lovely all saints one in tk maxx. This was last year, but it's ways worth a look.

Is this the joules one Jewels?|BROWN

If so, I really like it, looks gorgeous!

I like the new look one too Maizy but wonder if it might be too short? Hard to tell when they don't photograph it on a model.....

Pumpkintopf Sun 15-Sep-13 23:31:21

Trixy, just looked a bit like the blazer was too small/ too short as opposed to the effortless layered chic of the first image.

(lets be honest, what I probably want is the size ten body of the first image too, but in the absence of that, the jacket will have to do grin)

Pumpkintopf Sun 15-Sep-13 23:31:55

Thanks for the TK Maxx suggestion too, def worth a look.....

A lot of women's blazers are quite short now, aren't they?
Is this more the length you wanted? It's from Oasis. Don't know what it's made of.

garlicbaguette Mon 16-Sep-13 05:12:22

Hah. Don't know what happened to my pictures confused Sorry!

Jack wills do really nice fitted tweed jackets (others I find can look cheap) but they are pricey. I have a few of them but buy them on eBay as quite often people buy them and never wear them or have only ever worn them a few times but kept them in immaculate condition as they were so expensive! (I usually pay around £90-£100) RRP £240 but you can also resell on eBay when you get bored of it for the same as what you paid so in effect costing you nothing!grin They are usually quite small. I am a size 10 with smallish bust but buy size 12 in these jackets

Tu at sainsburys had a lovely one in yesterday, if you didn't want to spend too much , about £25. Sorry I can't link from this phone smile

commuterbelt Mon 16-Sep-13 07:58:14

i thought the joules one looked a bit cheapy in rl also the patches on the elbow didn't help

macskater Mon 16-Sep-13 07:59:56

Phase Eight, Imogen riding jacket - £145. Code PRBM for 15% off.

higgle Mon 16-Sep-13 09:26:34

The one in Matalan is lovely though the picture is not good
They tend to look a bit frumpy on me but this one and the Joules one which is not real tweed but jersey also looked ok.

PrimalLass Mon 16-Sep-13 10:15:41

Ooh I like that Matalan one.

SundaySimmons Mon 16-Sep-13 10:41:53

I like the matalan one too.

SundaySimmons Mon 16-Sep-13 10:44:11

I like this

And I like her hair!

Pimmpom Mon 16-Sep-13 10:50:57

Like the Very one as well!

H&M one a good price but haven't seen it in RL and may be a bit short again.
