My challenge to you is to find a bra in my size to go under....

This dress

I have been Googling all day and cannot find anything. I'm a 36H. My only reasonable option up to now is to buy the wonderbra ultimate in a 38FF.

I am desperate enough to risk venturing back to MN for the evening, steeled by Vodka of course Grin Wink. All strapless bras in my size are enormous full cup things that would show over the top of the bodice.

Alternatively I am happy to consider other size 18, in stock, flattering, wedding suitable dresses that are wearable with sensible hammock sized bras.

Please help. I need to order the dress soon. Wedding is in 2 weeks.

Lovely dress. Have you looked at the bra intervention threads on Style & Beauty board to make sure of the size you are looking for?

I found an ideal bra in Bravissimo, it was not as cheap as I would have liked though Grin

I bought my hammock sized bras from Bravissimo, who measured me at a 36H in both their swimming cossies and panache Evie strapless bras. I've checked their website and the only strapless ones they have in my size are the ones I already bought there, after reading the intervention thread, which btw, fit perfectly, thank you bra gurus. You made my holiday much more comfortable, although I was not so impressed with you when the resort entertainers used my bra as a hat Shock and did consider standing up and informing everyone that my boobs weren't enormous, they were all just used to wearing the wrong sized bras Grin

No, you're not, but nor was I Grin

I was a 40dd pre bra guru threads. DH kept laughing at the amount of time I spent admiring my bosom in my new bras and swimwear Grin. It's amazing the difference a good bra can make isn't it?

Have you tried the Wonderbra Ultimate in a 36 or 38G?

It goes to a G? That would be better. I only looked on a few sites and FF was the biggest I could find, by the time I decided a smaller bra would be the best option I had been searching for hours and was fed up.

I will go to next big town and try one on tomorrow. Thanks.

oh ignore my post re panache evie [blush[ have read your posts properly now and see that you are already aware of that one.

although the 36h panache evie is showing as 'low stock' rather than out of stock on figleaves.com

The Evie is the one I already have and it comes right up to the top of my bust. The dress doesn't look like it would.

I wonder if I could dye that red one black? That would work. Although it looks like it has quite a low back, so maybe I could get away with red. I need more bras anyway, so will order it and see. If it doesn't work I will get the wonder bra.

I'd definitely try the wonderbra. The sizing on it is quite far off for some people, mine are 32g and I'm a 30hh. not a perfect fit but looks miles better than any correctly sized strapless! there's also the Freya deco strapless which goes to a gg.

Definitely worth trying the Freya Deco strapless in a 36GG, the top of the cup sits more 'open' so less quadboob even if it's technically too small.
