That's it really. I need a make over. I feel I dress too young for my age. I'm a mum of three fgs. I've been wearing same clothes for years. All battered and mishapened. Very neglected. Help advice needed.

here is the Princessing thread, we're all in it together (Starts 1st Sept).

Birthday cake is lovely, best cake there is. Don't be despondant over the skinnies not fitting, sizing varies so widely even within a brand. I'm a size 14 too.

If you could pick your favourite outfit, what would it be?

Oh and Pinterest is great online scrapbook, it can really help find out what you like and put them into albums to see what goes with what. It is really addictive, so be warned wink

How old are you? I'm laughing at the posts on here saying 'I'm 29 so can't wear such-and-such'. There's nothing you can't wear at 29! Cept maybe a cut-off top (but even then only if you've had kids and only then because frankly, it's too distracting for yourself)! The simplest way to update your wardrobe without doing anything too radical: get yourself some cropped trousers. Easy to wear but smarter and different to jeans (and your joggers) and they'll see you through autumn (and spring) looking weather-appropriate without flashing any real amount of skin (so you don't have to even get rid of any wayward hair except for an inch around your ankles)! Can very happily be worn with flats, too (ankle boots when it turns colder). And look at your wardrobe? What's in there that you do wear that you like? Then concentrate on looking for updated versions of those things.

I am a couple of years older but I love tops like these

With longline cardis over or those long tops under. Oasis tops don't seem to wear out, need much drying or ironing.

Also love pretty blouses from miss selfridge or monsoon.
