Ds had some lovely kids geox shoes and needs new shows now, they were expensive but so much better than the clarks ones he's had recently
I cant find a uk stockist list and the ones on jl aren't nice!!

Im looking at Geox for the first time too.

Im a bit concerned though as no local stockist and my DS is very difficult when it comes to shoes.

My DP thinks it because I've spoiled him with barefoot shoes but actually I think its more a case of he has a sensory problem as he is very sensitive etc.

Basically what I want to know is are they very rigid? Is there any flex? etc. Looking at geox crush.

Ds has Geox crush. They are hard wearing, and more flexible than, say kickers, but I would think less flexible than "barefoot" shoes.

My Dd refused to wear her Elefanten sandals, and refused Clarks sandals, we think because they were too inflexible, but is very happy with Geox trainers (she is too little to explain why though!)

Thank you. He currently has pedipeds and vivos so looking to a compromise. I may have to just risk it. Hoping current shoes ok for a month or so though.

I know MyHabit often has sales on geox. For those who don't know it's amazon's flash sale arm. It is run out of the US, but they ship internationally for a flat fee and the prices are good, so if you buy a few items it may be worth it.

I also use a site called sorted.by to search their inventory and sort it by discount (myhabit doesn't natively have these features). Here is a list of all kids geox shoes currently available for ordering:

My DS has always had Geox shoes well ever since he was 3 anyway and he is now nearly 9...they are literally the only shoes he can get on his monster feet!

I usually buy new off e-bay or Amazon and fit them myself as know what Im looking for now.

There are actual Geox shops if that helps at all...there is one in Covent Garden and another in Lakeside shopping centre so assume there are more around the country.

He has Savage as the rubber bumper bit is fantastic for playing football and means they don't get trashed...his usually last an entire school year.

I recently left DS's trainers at home by accident but found a Geox supplier in Newport, Shropshire, I won't but him anything else. As others have said though, if you know the size, Amazon is fantastic. I once bought DS a pair at our local independent shoe shop for £52, came home and realised he needed trainers for school then found the same style but different colour on Amazon for £25!! I know we should all be supporting the high street but really???

I'm smugtastic now though as we have a Geox outlet store five miles away...

I recently went to Burrs shoes in Cambridge for some Geox only to be mortified by the young sales assistant to take out the insock and measure it with my childs foot. Surely that isn't the correct way of measuring!!!!!! I really wish I was served by the mature lady in there and not by the young girls who clearly do not know how to measure and fit shoes. AVOID THIS SHOP FOR OBVIOUS REASONS....Go to one that will measure correctly.

There's an online shoe shop - Sarenza.co.uk that have a good selection of Geox, and are quick to deliver to your address.

Geox itself also sells online, so you could try that as well.

Russell&Bromley stock them and there's a Geox shop in Covent Garden, if you're ever down in London.

There's one in Westfield at Stratford too. I bought DD some brogues for school last Sept and they still look like new. I did worry about spending so much but they really have been worth it (I am not sure how normal it is for a 5/6 year old child's feet not to grow at all in a year - I count myself lucky in this respect!!).
