Pregnant and in need to help...

help. I am totally useless when it comes to clothes. I was a curvy size 10, big boobs (32/34g before pregnancy) about 5'4".
I am only 18 weeks pregnancy but got quite a tummy already (measured 33inches yesterday) and really want to start feeling better about the way I look. I'm just wearing leggings and tops at the moment, and feel rubbish!

I'm going to start making more of an effort with my hair and nails too, so any tips would be gratefully accepted :)

TIA

My favourites during pregnancy were one really nice pair of maternity jeans (but I had to wear them with a belt for a while till I grew into them), and a wrap-style dress made of soft jersey material. It wasn't a maternity dress but i decided to sacrifice it and let it stretch with me. Also jersey skirts. Those lasted the whole pregnancy and beyond whereas more structured clothes only ever lasted for a few months. I personally always felt that dresses made me feel good about myself and were most flattering. Many empire-line tops or dresses I found unflattering as they often had a lot of material gathered at the seam under the bust which made me look bigger than I was. I did have one really nice empire line top though that was a closer fit if you see what I mean. I always felt clothes that hugged the bump were more flattering than looser stuff.

Also remember, whatever size you are, people will always make unwelcome comments, usually to suggest you are huge (you must be due soon, expecting twins, etc etc). Ignore those people, they haven't got a clue. I put on very minimal weight in pregnancy and still had those comments. Just feel good about your growing bump!
