For some reason! Just had DD2 - have quite a cool wardrobe and work from home. Or should I just buy normal ones?!

RedPencils Tue 30-Jul-13 19:44:56

I love them.
I can't vouch for my coolness though.

Link won't work for me... Which ones?

CareerGirl01 Wed 31-Jul-13 18:28:59

They are
I've got an interview for a freelance contract on Friday - if I get it may treat myself. But I wore them first time round - circa 1988 age 18!

WrenNatsworthy Wed 31-Jul-13 18:33:16

I'm nearly 41 and am currently rocking a pair of 8 hole cherry reds. Buy them. YOLO, as the kids say.

muppetthecow Wed 31-Jul-13 18:33:22

Treat yourself - I have about four pairs of DM's this length in varying colours and about another six ankle length ones. I have a DM problem! and they're fantastically versatile. Skirts, shorts, dresses or trousers all look great with them smile

I've them in plain black. Do it they're comfy and practical and so pretty.

CareerGirl01 Wed 31-Jul-13 18:53:42

Thanks guys - am a size 6 - do they come up big?

pocketandsweet Wed 31-Jul-13 18:56:50

I love them but I have chunky calves so probably not for me. I wished I didn't look on the website last night though, after your post, because I have spent all day trying to justify buying those black Triumph ones.

pocketandsweet Wed 31-Jul-13 18:57:15

Wish not wished. Argh phone

pocketandsweet Wed 31-Jul-13 18:59:03

Yes sizing info please. I'm a six too in most shoes are they true to size ( if I break down and order them). Damn this website.

mrsseed Wed 31-Jul-13 19:00:54

I have fabric ones covered in flowers. I'm 40 and call them my mid-life crisis boots. I LOVE THEM and wear them as much as I can

BikeRunSki Wed 31-Jul-13 19:05:52

I am 42 and wear a lot of Docs. They come up a little large.

Stop that messing around.... Try to think.of your future....

Metalgoddess Wed 31-Jul-13 19:07:21

Love them, I've got a few pairs and intend to carry on wearing them! Do it:

CareerGirl01 Wed 31-Jul-13 19:11:26

I will have to make them my autumn boots! That and the Superdry padded biker jacket! Lets hope I can keep working from home and don't have to wear any serious clothes!

Hulababy Wed 31-Jul-13 19:15:49

mrsseed - my 11y DD has some of the fabric flowery ones. As her mum I m totally and utterly barred from owning a pair as well smile

pocketandsweet Wed 31-Jul-13 19:18:38

But too they give you giant painful blisters on the back of your heels? <remembering vaguely some intense agony from cherry red shoes in my ancient past>

AcrylicPlexiglass Wed 31-Jul-13 19:40:35

They're great. I think they're quite ageless really. I'm 40 and wouldn't hesitate to wear them.
