Just wondered if anyone has been able to grab a bargain in the sales? I'm looking for inspiration nosy, I love that feeling when you find something you like, with a good reduction and it's in your size. Never seems to happen to me anymore though...

Very disappointed so far - I'm a serious bargain hunter but can't find much worth buying Confused Got a few bits for the kids from Next sale but the sheer fact they had things left today after sale started on Sat tells me something!! Best buys this season were from Fat Face sale a few weeks ago..

Hopefully some decent discounting starting soon - I need some summer clothes!

dazzlingdeborahrose · 17/07/2013 06:01

Got a dress in phase eight reduced from £130 to £55 Grin

Probably should have name changed but got a Vivienne Westwood dress at House of Fraser for £99 instead of £330. Wore it to two 50ths at the weekend.

Inspired by this I tried on a Dolce Gabbana dress reduced from £1525 to £620. Fits me as if it was made for me, practical enough colours to wear in winter or summer, knee length so not too short, neck not too low, has short sleeved & I'm not at my skinniest so should always fit. DH turns 50 in 10 days.

Isabel Marant 'Ariana' jacket half price.
Wasn't worth full price, to me, but very pleased with it!

Eastpoint · 17/07/2013 11:04

Those are the best deals aren't they. Mind you I'm very pleased with my navy cotton GAP skirt from £29.99 to £9.99. Above the knee & fits beautifully, ideal to wear with t-shirts.

GeekInThePink · 17/07/2013 11:09

Emma Bridgewater mug for mil's collection, a Christmas present for £5.95 inc p&p.
I know it's early etc but I'm chuffed with bargain!

Alas no clothes as of yet.

Eastpoint · 17/07/2013 14:06

That's 75% or near enough off isn't it? Pretty spectacular discount.

bunnymother · 17/07/2013 14:40

I bought a Mango jacket and sunglasses and am going to go to the store on Regent St to see if they have another jacket I fancy. And try on some dresses. I also bought a Massimo Dutti scarf and lovely nude strippy mid heels. But none of these have been hugely reduced. I think many final reductions have now been made, so now's the time the really impressive, albeit pot luck, bargains can be found.

MarshaBrady · 17/07/2013 14:45

80% off J Brand skinnies and a cashmere jumper from NaP sale. Think one was over £200 and the other at £300. So a saving of around £400 not bad!

Oh and figleaves bikini bottom £14 to £5.

anothernamechangerreally · 17/07/2013 14:50

I bought a dress reduced to £39 in phase eight for work and two dresses from mint velvet for a wedding and a part today - they were £39 and £49 I think - all considerable reductions!

FuturePerfect · 17/07/2013 15:19

QueenMaeve · 17/07/2013 15:21

Current Elliot cargos for half price

Melissa odabash bikini with £100 off

So pleased with them both. Am considering a dress which is 70% off but might hold out a bit longer.

Gillybobs · 17/07/2013 16:34

Corygal · 17/07/2013 20:14

My barg is THE gap drapey neck dress for 12 quid from 30.

A lot of Cos has 70 per cent off now, by the way - merino dresses for 20 quid, tops about 13, etc. Most styles on website, it's good at the mo'.

Caip · 17/07/2013 20:22

I got 2 dresses and a handbag from whistles for £245, should have come to £460

InMyShreddies · 17/07/2013 23:15

Two dresses. Stripey navy and red mini dress from Banana Republic - £75 down to £30, Hush elbow-length sleeved dip hem dress in cornflower blue, £45 down to £25. Love them both Smile

Whenever sales are on, full prices just look silly, don't they? I haven't paid full price for anything bar really cheapo shops for years.

woopsidaisy · 17/07/2013 23:32
