I can imagine that looking great if its a perfect fit. Yes, wear it and look fab! Leave the denim jacket, though. Not nice with dresses. If the dress it so good, go back and get the other colour!

Just caught up with this string so am too late to warn you that the food and drink prices are predictably extortionate. Hope you're having an awesome time. [Grin] and envy

I'm heading off to Rolling Stones in a min & am wearing a dress that's very similar. I average 1 gig a month so like to think I know what I can get away with....the dress you've got is spot-on!

Have fun!

That dress is lovely. Very similar to one I got from there about 3 years ago that I still love-black with pink flowers. Enjoy the gig!

I love the dress. I wish you posted that last night I would have bought it for my holiday next week, but it's too late now. Never mind, I hope you have a brilliant time at the concert wearing the dress.

That dress is gorgeous. How long is it?

MadBusLady Fri 12-Jul-13 20:50:32

Ooh yes to Rockabilly! Can you do a big quiff at the front? Would be awesome with that dress. Have fun smile

Callmedreckly I got the dark one - it's my co out of having to wear a grass skirt when dress up as a hawaiian lady at Camp Bestival (ancy dress saturday around the world theme) - will of course have some leis and my ukulele etc.

iheartshoes am considering going back and getting the pale one too!

AuntPittypat am so v excited - did you eat there, what were food prices like? Last saturday went to the Bowie at V& A and walked back along Hyde park saw some people but not many - got me so excited!!

That dress is stunning , just ordered it !!

AuntPittypat Fri 12-Jul-13 19:51:22

I went last Saturday and people were dressed in such a range of styles and dressiness - it was fab people watching! There were definitely people wearing dresses so do it, and it is a lovely dress! I'm very jealous, the gig was incredible, wish I was going again. Enjoy!

Oooh converse - I know what you mean damn DD has the perfect pair bright blue but 4 sizes too small!!

smellylittleorange Fri 12-Jul-13 19:47:51

Thanks all - have decided to rockabilly it with some lippy and liquid eyeliner, love the dress so much as it controls my bosoms - flatters my waist and comletely hides mysize 16 ish bum, tum and thighs - I think it makes me look a size smaller - besides - it is a dress made for dancing surely lol! 'll leave the all saints stuff to the skinny kate mossalikes!!

MadBusLady Fri 12-Jul-13 19:46:34

People will be wearing all sorts, surely. I've never dressed up as a particular music style to go to a gig.

Callmedreckly Fri 12-Jul-13 19:46:09

Did you get the dark or light one? Both lovely x

Aetae Fri 12-Jul-13 19:45:19

Nah, wear it - you'll have a better time if you're not overheating and know the dress suits you. Wear biker boots or converse with it if you want it to look a bit more rock - google image search girly grunge to see what I mean.

Dancealot Fri 12-Jul-13 19:44:47

Dress is lovely, so yes definitely wear it. I'm sure people will be there dressed in all sorts. Enjoy the concert!

MrsEricBana Fri 12-Jul-13 19:43:28

Perfect! Enjoy.

Laquila Fri 12-Jul-13 19:42:00

If the dress is flattering then definitely go for it! Sounds gorgeous, actually. And you probably won't want to be wearing leggings in the heat, at a gig. Have fun smile

smellylittleorange Fri 12-Jul-13 19:41:32

forgot link to dress

Just picked up a flarey skirted black 50s style Hawaiian print dress in peacocks purely by accident , tried it on and have rarely worn anything so flattering. I really want to wear it tommorrow to the Rolling stones concert...will I look silly? Will wear gold flat sandals and take a denim jacket. Its so girly I'm worried will look stupid, have been looking for weeks for a religion/all saints smudgy rock chick style dress but none in my size or budget. I have a black ikat print tunic but that would need leggings and will be scorching tomorrow. What do you think?
