and please tell dhs/dps not to wear shorts that let testicles fall out at the side. It makes me gag seeing a veiny ball like that.

Esmummy Sat 03-Jun-06 14:48:50

LadyCodofCOdford Sat 03-Jun-06 14:49:36

bunny3 Sat 03-Jun-06 14:50:10

cept at the gym, that's the only place I wear mine

KommandantColditz Sat 03-Jun-06 14:51:37

<<rolls eyes>>

well, please don't wear linen then, because it makes you look like you use napkin rings on a daily basis.

BadHair Sat 03-Jun-06 14:52:11

Is this for in town or for going out for an afternoon walk? I wouldn't be caught dead in cut-offs and trainers in a built-up area, but happily wade about in them when we're out for a walk.

JonesTheSteam Sat 03-Jun-06 14:52:18

I only wear cut-off joggers, trainers and trainer-socks when I'm actually jogging - is that ok?

(And I might wear them when I ride my bike next week on holiday.)

Esmummy Sat 03-Jun-06 14:53:04

Oh excercising purposes are completely fine imho.

LadyCodofCOdford Sat 03-Jun-06 14:53:10

wekll ther ewere lots of mums in them at moors valley - semi asseptable (!)

Like being back at school

"Urgh, scab, you've got virgin socks!"

JonesTheSteam Sat 03-Jun-06 14:54:24

virgin socks?

KommandantColditz Sat 03-Jun-06 14:55:16

With you on the strappy tops. I don't mind anyone's ankles, but if you really need a bra, you really need capped sleeves.

mousiemousie Sat 03-Jun-06 14:55:16

yes m'aam

LadyCodofCOdford Sat 03-Jun-06 14:55:20

I love wearing my trainer socks and trainers all the time - 'cept in the summer when I'm wearing my flip flops!!!!!

KommandantColditz Sat 03-Jun-06 14:57:05

Those long white socks. I used to get the piss ripped because mum thought I looked adorable in them when I was twelve, and everyone else had plain black ankle socks. I don't know why 'virgin' was such an insult though, we were 12, we were all virgins!

LadyCodofCOdford Sat 03-Jun-06 14:58:39

oh yes
12 too old to wear them i think.

trianer socks are dum
they show
plastic straps on bras
t hey shwo
g strings
they show

moondog Sat 03-Jun-06 14:59:46

lol Bunny
How often do you gerra load of 'veiny ball' then?

LadyCodofCOdford Sat 03-Jun-06 15:01:11

not as often as you
bloody yuk

KommandantColditz Sat 03-Jun-06 15:01:24

I thought the point of trainer socks was to let your ankles get tanned and stop your trainers getting smelly? So doesn't really matter if they show, because they are to stop you getting a tan line or smelly trainers.

moondog Sat 03-Jun-06 15:01:26

Dh has had to buy extra long shorts for gym sessions in Turkey for fear of offending with glimpse of inner thigh, let alone ball (veiny or otherwise)
There is a vile man at my gym who delights in doing stretching and thrusting exercises near me in very small shorts every time I go.

LadyCodofCOdford Sat 03-Jun-06 15:02:03

no they are there as evidence of fashion crime
