Do you use a deep conditioning hair treatment?
If so, which one and how often?

I've longish blonde highlighted hair and I've only ever used one very irregularly (think once every 6-8 months!!), I've noticed bits of my hair seem really crunchy lately and thinking now I'm old I need to invest a bit more in maintaining my locks.

Hi Karbea smile

I just to use deep conditioning treatments, at home and in the salon, but I've never been that impressed tbh. It's ok for a week or two, but if you're using a lot of heat and dye on your hair, it can only do so much.

There's a busy thread running now about the Brazilian blow dry, home kit. It's had rave reviews and this particular brand is free from harsh chemicals, including formaldehyde.

I naturally have long, curly, dry and frizzy hair. I am about to try the home keratin kit and I'm a little nervous, but as I mentioned before, the reviews are really good. I would maybe look into trying it yourself.

ooooops *I used to use

I use Lush Jasmine and Henna Frizz Eaze about once a week, I put it on and clip my hair up as soon as I get up and shower it out 20 mins later, makes it feel fabulously silky. However it says best for brunette hair on the pot, so I would take care with blonde hair, might be worth seeing what other masks Lush have or asking the staff if it is suitable for blondes. It is very strongly fragranced, which may put some off. Even on the days I haven't used it I can smell the henna on my hair after washing (goes once dry).

Oo I'll look into the Brazilian thing.

Whoknows I love lushs salt wash, so I'll have a chat with them next time I'm there.

I just found an old tub of a John frieda blonde deep conditioner so just that.

I keep recommending this on threads, I don't work for them honestly! Osmo deep hair mask. Amazon or Sally's do it for about £2 for a small tub. It's actually the most effective one ive used and I have curly, dry, coloured hair

I use Lush Jasmine & Henna treatment every time I wash my hair (every second day) - just on the ends so I don't use that much. I leave it on while I'm doing other things (soap, exfoliate etc) so it's not a 30 minute 'deep conditioning' as such but it does leave my hair in lovely shiny healthy condition.

I've been using the Toni and Guy one for a few months now and really noticed a difference in the condition of my hair. Mine is dyed blonde too and can be frizzy. I use it with their blonde shampoo and the leave in conditioner. My hair is much more shiny and less straw like!

Also I use it twice a week and leave it on for ten mins.

Aussie 3 minute miracle works for mine.
