I've tried boden, monsoon, next. I just want something for the summer that's not too short, and casual for the hols

Funnily enough I find charity shops good for this. I also have a problem with finding knee length cotton for summer, and the advantage of charity shop finds for summer is that you can sit down on the grass/eat messy picnic food without being too paranoid about whether the stains will wash off. All my good new knee length summer buys were years and years ago.

I'm watching this as I'm having same issue. I think ASOS has a few but many are pleated and not suitable for my mummy tummy.

Funnily enough, I'm having the exact same problem. I've had to go down the shorts route.

Fat Face are usually good for some

Shorts won't be happening with my legs. Shudder doesn't come close.
I will try these suggestions though, thanks. It really shouldn't be so difficult to find something like this but I have not come up with anything so far.

I've had exactly the same problem. Even charity shops aren't coming up with the goods.

Next stop: eBay.

I bought a Gap dark denim one from a charity shop, with jean metal poppers down the front, when I googled it, it is 'seventies' style, and Ella McPherson was wearing one a couple of years ago. Not sure if it's cool/uncool but I like it.

Bloody Gap should be doing this stuff, but they've decided that they will only do skirts and dresses in teeny lengths nowadays. I've got a gorgeous bright yellow Gap skirt from 6 years ago, tight to the hips then explodes in several layers of floaty knee length cotton. It is the perfect summer skirt, if we ever get a summer again of course.

The Mamtaray dept in Debenhams has a few knee length summer skirts. Sale prices too.

White stuff, I have several of their skirts and they are gorgeous.
St martins Scandinavian Design, my favourite brand and so unusual.

They're really not happening are they? I am tired of searching. I jus don't think knee length is in trend right now, so it's hard to find them.
When you see search criteria in stores, it often allows you to search for 'maxi / mini / midi'......but never knee length. Some midi skirts will be knee length depending on your height, though.

I have one from Oasis, long ago. And 3 from FatFace. Not a fan generally but the cotton skirts are very nice.

This looks knee length for me at 5"4, but on the model it seems like a mini. Odd, cos the description says it's a midi!

Just got this recently, it is very nice for the sunshine!

Sainsburys has a gorgeous blue skirt with white trim which is knee length- im 5foot 1 and it's midcalf on me which isn't the most flattering length but will at least protect my modesty at toddler groups!

I am having the same problem. I got a red and white floral Sainsburys one BNWT from EBay, but that's all so far.

I have a lovely one from Wallis that's ages old, a Next one and a La Redoute one. They all need replacing, but why has everywhere stopped doing them?
